    Summary

Kokus V.V. Kharkiv Scientific Society of the All-Ukrainian Academy of

Sciences and Its Input Into the Development of Regional Geographical Research

    in the 1920s.

The article based on the analysis of literary sources examines the input of Kharkiv Scientific

Society of the All-Ukrainian Academy of Science into the development of regional geographical re-

search in the 1920s. It has been found out that Botanical, Forestry, Geographical, Zoological, and

Geophysical Subdivisions of Kharkiv Scientific Society Nature Study Division were most active in

conducting research. They consolidated progressive scientific manpower of the city of Kharkiv. The

article gives an account of the scientific heritage and life of leading scientists of Kharkiv Scientific

Society, and namely Ye.M. Lavrenko, G.G. Makhov, D.K. Pedayev, Ye.V. Oppokov, O.S. Fedorovskyi,

etc. Their efforts in the 1920s and at the beginning of the 1930s are proved to result in the first de-

tailed descriptions of the nature components of Kharkiv Region and other regions of Ukraine. The

article names the reasons for the decay of the Society at the beginning of the 1930s.

climat parameter`s changings, such as temperature trends of atmosphere, number of rainfalls

changings of wind`s derections and etc. After that has been changes territorial deployment of

Lugansk district agroclimatic regions. It`s has beenan influence on agricultural and cultural plants

    Summary

A.V. Bova. Microelemental Composition of Plants of the Forest-Steppe Part

    of Sumy Region.

In the article data are cited about maintenance of microelements in the typical plants of the

forest-steppe part of Sumy region. The analysis of maintenance of chemical elements is executed for

the different landscape-geochemical terms of research territory (basion of Psel). Research results

enable to re-done a conclusion about geochemical specialization of separate prospects and groups of

plants and to define influence on forming of microelemental composition of plants soils and laying

rocks which are the basic source of receipt of elements in vegetable organisms.
