All the desktop computer environment absorbed windows concept. Window User Interface ensured independence between windows. The UI has locked each page of the document into a single window. These constraints limits work activity and make worker unproductive.

In order to view several pages at once, more display should be added. It’s expensive, and problems still exist. Because, most software were not designed for multi-page handling.

Size/weight for mobility, light intensity/resolutions for readability are another factors.
