• Without grace not a single person could be saved. The grace of God is the complete plan of redemption secured for all mankind by God’s only begotten son JESUS.

• We cannot save ourselves by good works or by good intentions• The Scriptures teachers that good works cannot save us, we

cannot even offer our own sacrifice for sins• It is up to us to exercise the faith given to us• Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that

not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

• The condition above is that my sheep hear my voice and they follow me but there is no promise in the Bible stating that God will keep those who will not listen, will not follow and will rebel against God’s Word.

• People like to say, “if a person is truly saved in every case he will hear and follow.”

• That may be a nice sentiment but it frankly is not biblical.

IT IS NOT A BIBLE TRUTH

• Here is a list of Scriptures that show categorically that are born again believer can lose faith even after they have received the grace of God through faith. Seeing that the grace of God is received through faith it then follows that if you fall away from faith that you are not able to receive the grace of God whether you deserve it or not.
