What does NextGen do for airport and enroute capacity, particularly during inclement weather and heavy traffic times?

A key benefit of NextGen is being able to retain VFR-like capacity during inclement weather in order to maintain efficient and reliable operations at an airport.

Overall, improvements will be incremental while maintaining safe separation from other traffic, wake vortices and other weather hazards.
