Water evaporates and turns into water vapour because of heat.

Water vapour goes up to higher altitude of sky

Water vapour turns into water droplets when cooled to form clouds.

When more water droplets gather, the cloud becomes thicker.

Water droplets become heavier. They fall as rain.
