Only 53 cases of Meier-Gorlin syndrome have been reported, this syndrome is caused by ORC1 protein, that is the largest of six proteins called the origin recognition complex.

The patients are shorts and they have a small brain size

If we know the type of mutatation that causes Meier Gorlin syndrome, we can avoid and prevent that the affect protein appears in the genome or maybe find a solution to some symptoms of Meier Gorlin syndrome.
