@WATERNOMICS_EU www.waternomics.eu3
WATERNOMICS OBJECTIVES

WIDE VARIETY OF END-USERS
Domestic Environment
Corporate Environment
Public Environment
Waternomics Methodology targets a wide variety of end-users
The “standards-based approach ensure the repeatibility of the results in different environments
@WATERNOMICS_EU www.waternomics.eu15
ITERATIVE PROCESSThe Waternomics Methodology: Cyclic process to iteratively improve water efficiency. That provides a project-based approach with defined roles and a clear
start and end of each iteration That leads to organizational changes in the areas of People,
Technologies and Processes.

MANAGEMENT TOOLThe “homepage” for the Waternomics Methodology “Trello Board” for the NUIG pilot activity. The screen is split up into five columns corresponding to the Waternomics methodology phases and activities within them. A sixth column captures associated research tasks and activities of interest to the working group.

IMPACT
• Define a standard based method to implement a WMS
• Ensure the repeatability of the results• Provide a set of tools and references to help implement the methodology
• Methodology is customizable to the needs of different end users
@WATERNOMICS_EU www.waternomics.eu19
INSIGHT
• The use of a Standard-based Methodology and related methods make easiest the implementation of a Water management system in different environments and for different end-users
• Waternomics methodology can be one step and contribution in the development of standards dedicated to water management programs
