공연내용 Performance Description

이번 공연은 봄을 맞이하여 봄과 어울리는 여러 가지 음악을 준비하였다. 판소리뿐 아니

라 남도민요, 비나리 등 관객들에게 우리 음악의 다양함을 느낄 수 있도록 여러 가지 무대

가 준비되어 있다.

첫 무대는 온갖 새를 주제로 하여 즐거운 음색으로 부르는 ‘남도민요-새타령’이다. 그 다

음으로는 판소리의 멋을 보여주는 춘향가’ 중 춘향이 그네타는 대목이 이어진다. 봄날과

잘 어울리는 남도민요 봄타령, 신나는 장단이 특징적인 농부가, 관객들의 만복을 기원하는

비나리 등도 관객들을 기다리고 있다.

공연은 관객들이 함께 즐기고 소통할 수 있는 마당놀이 강강술래로 마무리된다. 관객들은

판소리의 다양성과 가능성, 그리고 국악의 멋을 봄과 함께 물씬 즐길 수 있는 하루를 보낼

수 있을 것이다.

To greet the Spring season, a variety of Spring themed songs are prepared. In order to pre-sent the dynamic sounds of Korean music, the stage will compose Pansori(operatic rendi-tion), Namdo Minyo(Namdo regional styled folk songs), Binari(prayer), etc.The first stage, ‘Namdo Minyo - Sae Taryeong’ is filled with pleasant tones similar to chirp-ing birds. The next performance, ‘Chunhyang, Playing on the Swing’ is from a love story called Chunhyangga, which shows the style of Pansori. Next is ‘Namdo Minyo - Bom Tar-yeong’ meaning the song of Spring, ‘Nongbuga’ has the characteristics of dynamic beats, and ‘Binari’, prayers wishing for good fortunes for the audience.The finale will be the circle dance called ‘Ganggangsulae’, which performers can enjoy and communicate with the audience. Along with the Spring, the audience will be able to have a meaningful day enjoying the diversity and potential of Pansori, and moreover the beauty of Korean traditional music, Gukak.

이번 공연은 오복을 주제로 壽(수)는 長壽(장수)하는 것, 富(부)는 부유한 삶을 영위하는

것, 康寧(강녕)은 우환이 없이 편안한 것, 攸好德(유호덕)은 덕을 좋아하며 즐겨 덕을 행하

려고 하는 것, 考終命(고종명)은 天命(천명)을 다하는 것으로 오복락락(五福樂樂) 국악콘

서트를 준비하였다.

첫 무대는 웅장한 멜로디와 아름다운 선율로 국악관현악에 현대적인 감각으로 창작된 ‘프

론티어’를 선보인다. 이어서 사물놀이와 국악관현악의 협주곡으로 감미로운 기악합주에

사물놀이의 다채로운 장단을 통해 ‘신명을 모은다.’뜻을 가진 ‘신모듬’, 영화

의 수록되어 큰 인기를 모았던 국악가요 ‘인연’, 우리국악기를 소개하고 소통하는 국악기

소개, 타악과 기악의 신명나는 조화를 느낄 수 있는 ‘방황’, 마지막으로 국악관현악과 판놀

음 협연으로 공연의 대미를 장식한다.

Under the theme of Obok(literally, 5 fortunes)’, Fusion Gugak(Korean traditional music) concert will be presented representing five fortunes: longevity, wealth, health, love of virtue, and peaceful death.‘Frontier’, a song in which traditional and contemporary musical instruments generate dig-nified melodies in harmony, opens the stage. In ‘New Compilation’, which means ‘gathering pleasure’, the audience may appreciate the mirth and style of Korean classical music through the melodies of traditional string instruments and varied rhythms of traditional percussion. A famous Korean movie, ’s OST Gukak Gayo ‘Relationship’ will fol-low the sequence. Then, performers will introduce Korean traditional music instruments. Next, the audience will be able to feel the harmony between instrumental music and percus-sion sounds through ‘Wandering’. Lastly, the co-performance of Gukak orchestra and Pan-nolum (traditional festive performing arts) will close the entire show.

오늘의 공연은 모두에게 익숙한 기성곡과 공연팀의 창작곡으로 구성되어 관객과 공연자 모두

가 함께 호흡하며 즐길 수 있는 경쾌한 작품들로 구성되었다. 모두가 함께 흥과 멋에 취해 즐

기는 축제, ‘Festa’인 것이다. 첫 무대는 양방언이 작곡한 ‘Froniter’이다. 이 곡은 우리 전통의

음악과 서양 음악이 가지고 있는 매력이 함께 어우러지는 역동적이고 진취적인 분위기의 곡

이다. 다음 무대로는 모두가 아는 유명한 판소리‘사랑가’와 민요 ‘진도아리랑’이 이어진다. 따

뜻한 봄날, 꽃잎이 흩날리는 풍경이 펼쳐지는 듯한 인상을 주는 창작곡 ‘꽃바람’, 한국의 정서

를 가장 잘 표현해내었다는 평을 듣고 있는 ‘아름다운 나라’, 자신의 인생을 찾아 떠나는 심청

이의 모습을 그려낸 ‘심청이의 삶’도 관객들의 귀를 즐겁게 해줄 것이다. 첫 곡인 ‘Frontier’의

작곡가인 양방언이 작곡한 ‘제주의 왕자’는 제주의 시원함과 평화로움을 전해줄 예정이다. 마

지막 곡은 공연팀이 창작한 ‘Festa’란 작품이다. 오늘 공연의 제목이기도 한 ‘Festa’는 태평소

의 경쾌한 연주와 흥겨운 장단으로 이루어져 있다. 관객들은 이번 공연을 통해 축제의 한마당

을 신나고 경쾌하게 즐기고 가는 기회를 잡을 수 있을 것이다.

Today’s performance consists of both well-known and original performances. So both the audi-ence and performers will be able to enjoy and empathize the exciting stage, as the title of the show, ‘Festa’. The first stage is ‘Frontier’, by the famous composer Yang Bangeon. The harmony of attractiveness from both traditional Korean and Western music on the song has dynamic and active atmosphere. The following stages are well-known traditional songs, the love song called ‘Pansori Srangga’ and a folk song titled ‘Jindo Arirang’. The song known as the best describing the Korean soul is ‘The Beautiful Country’. Next, depicting the journey of Sim Cheong finding her way of life, ‘the life of Sim Cheong’ will also delight the audience. Then, ‘the Prince of Jeju’, also composed by Yang Bangeon will convey the cool and peaceful scenery of the tropical island, Jeju. The last song will be an original piece, ‘Festa’, which is the title of the today’s show. It plays dynamic rhythms along with cheerful sounds of Taepyeongso(conical oboe). So, the audience will be able to have an opportunity to enjoy the exciting festive performances.

이번 공연은 2000년이 넘는 역사를 가진 우리 무예 ‘택견’을 소재로 하여 만든 마당극 ‘살

판’이다.

‘살판’은 전통문화에 대한 대중들의 관심이 줄어드는 현실에 대한 안타까움과 이를 극복

하여 전통문화를 살리고자 하는 마음을 기반으로 하여 기획되었다. 이러한 기획의도에 맞

게 오늘 공연은 현대사회에서 전통문화가 가지는 의미와 그를 지켜나가기 위한 공연자들

의 고민, 나아가 우리 문화의 성장가능성에 대한 해답을 관객들에게 전달해주고자 한다.

‘살판’은 각자 우스꽝스러운 죄를 지어 죽을 위기에 처한 광대들이 관객을 얼마나 즐겁게

하는지에 따라 살 수 있는 기회를 부여받는다는 서사를 담고 있다. 정통 택견퍼포먼스, 화

려한 군무, 신나는 k-pop공연까지 관객들을 즐겁게 하기 위한 광대들의 공연이 관객들을

기다리고 있다. 관객들은 살기 위한 광대들의 혼신의 힘이 담긴 이번 공연을 통해 관객들

은 유쾌한 웃음과 즐거움을 가득 느끼고 갈 수 있을 것이다.

The performing arts titled ‘Salpan’ is based on the Korean martial arts, Taekkyeon, which has over 2,000 year history.‘Salpan’ is designed based on the pitiful circumstances of the public losing interest in the traditional martial art as well as the spirit of overcoming the fact and saving the tradition. In other words, today’s performance aims to convey various messages such as the meaning of traditional culture in modern society, the performer’s concerns in regards of preserving tradi-tions, and the solution for the lost interest, which is to reinspire people to be proud of Ko-rean culture. ‘Salpan’ contains a narrative that crowns who are in danger of dying are given a chance to survive based on how much they make the audience laugh. Various performing arts are prepared including the Traditional Taekkyeon performance, a spectacular group dance, and an exciting K-pop performance. The audience will be able to feel the joy of laughter through the crown’s energetic and soulful entertainment.

이번 공연은 가야금 앙상블 ‘농현정담’이 선보이는 25현 가야금연주와 전통연희로 구성되

었다. 공연자들은 아름다운 25현 가야금의 선율과 신명나는 연희무대로 국악의 대중화를

선도하고 새로운 감각의 공연의 세계로 관객들을 초대하고자 한다.

첫 무대는 전국 풍물가락을 새롭게 재해석하여 신명나는 음악구성이 특징인 앉은반사물

놀이 ‘혼의소리’이다. 이어지는 것은 많은 관객들에게 친숙할 ‘파헬벨의 캐논’인데 캐논변

주곡 멜로디를 25현 가야금을 통해 연주하면서 색다른 모습을 보여준다는 것이 특징적이

다. 힘 있고 리듬이 강렬한 난타합주 ‘Mega Drum’, 화려한 기교와 표현력으로 연주하는

25현 가야금의 ‘아리랑’, 가야금의 전통적인 주법과 농현을 살린 ‘오봉산타령’도 관객들을

기다리고 있다.

마지막으로 즐거움과 감동을 전해주는 ‘사물판굿’까지 공연되고 나면 관객들은 행복하고

즐거운 추억을 마음에 젖어들 것이다.

The concert consists of ‘Nonghyeonjeondam’’s ensemble of traditional Korean zither called Gayageum, especially having 25 strings one this time. Performers aim to invite the audience to a new performative world as well as popularizing the Gukak(Korean traditional music genre) through beautiful sounds of Gayageum along with dynamic stage performing arts. The opening stage is the percussion quarter, Anjunban Samulnori ‘the Sounds of Soul’ that reflects the newly directed Korean traditional musical composition. The performance charac-terizes its exciting music components. Following stage is well-known classic music, ‘Canon’ composed by Pachelbel. Through playing a 25 stringed Gayageum, its variant melody charac-terizes showing distinctive impression. A powerful and rhythmical percussion performance, Nanta ensemble titled ‘Mega Drum’ will follow the sequence. Then, ‘Arirang’ that played with a 25 string Gayageum presents technical skills. ‘Obongsan Taryeong’ elaborates Gayageum’s traditional technique and vibrato. Finally, the finale ‘Samulpangut’ will convey pleasurable and joyful memories to the audience.

이번 공연은 우리민족의 가장 가까이에서 희노애락을 함께 했던 농악과 아리랑, 줄다리기

등의 전통민속예술로 구성되어 관객들에게 흥과 멋을 전달해주기 위해 기획되었다.

전통적으로 마을구성원들의 안녕과 염원을 기원하고 흥겨움을 전달했던 농악이 열었던

무대는 한국인들의 정서를 가장 잘 담고 있는 우리의 노래, 아리랑으로 이어진다. 각 지역

의 특색을 담은 긴 아리랑, 본조 아리랑, 밀양 아리랑 등 관객에게 익숙한 여러 아리랑 선

율이 태평소의 맑은 가락으로 연주된다. 아리랑 이후에 이어지는 ‘군영놀이’는 풍물패들

이 기량을 뽐내는 굿거리로 각자가 개성이 담긴 가락과 춤을 선보여 관람객들을 즐겁게 해

줄 예정이다. 마지막으로 ‘수박치기굿’과 ‘삼색줄 줄다리기’는 공연자들과 관객이 함께 가

락에 맞춰 서로 손바닥을 마주치고 삼색줄을 꿰며 노는 놀이마당으로 관객들도 놀이에 참

여하며 즐거움을 느낄 수 있을 것이다.

In order to deliver excitement and groove to the audience, the stage is composed with tradi-tional folk performing arts, which is Korea’s one of most intimate music genres such as Non-gak, Arirang, Tug, etc. The opening stage, Nongak, which was traditionally played to pray for the prosperity and peace, happiness for all villagers, will be continued with Arirang, one of the best folk songs capturing the emotion of Koreans. Various familiar Arirang melodies that represent its regional characteristic such as Gin Arirang, Bonjo Arirang, Milyang Arirang, etc. follow the sequence throughout the clear sound of conical oboe, Taepyeongso. Then, ‘Gunyeo-ngnori’ shows each performer’s technical song and dance to entertain the audience. Played is ‘Subakchigigut’ which the performers and the audience sit facing each other in the circle, then clapping palms together in accordance with the rhythm. The finale, ‘Tug of War’ is a play widely conducted in the East Asian cultures. Because the aim of play meets the characteristic of agriculture, enhancing communal cohesion. In today’s performance, the audience will be able to make and use the tri-colored strins to play tug of war, which will give the audience an unforgettable memory.

제431회 일요열린민속무대 The 431st Sunday Performance


이번 공연은 우리의 전통음악과 전통을 가미한 창작음악들로 구성되었으며 우리 음악의 우수

성과 다양성을 알리고 관객들과 함께 소통하기 위해 기획되었다. 소리와 연주가 함께 어우러져

한층 신명을 더한 남도민요 연곡이 오늘 공연의 첫 무대를 연다. 이어서 부부사이의 깊고 화목

함을 표현한 창작곡 ‘비익련리’(連理枝)가 해금으로 연주된다. 세 번째 순서는 전통악기로 연

주하는 ‘Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da’이다. 비틀즈의 노래이자 영화음악 OST로 유명한 이 노래는 우

리 전통악기를 통해 새롭게 창조되어 아름답게 무대를 장식할 것이다. 그 흐름을 宮타령의 멋’

이 이어간다. 이 노래는 경기민요 ‘경복궁 타령’을 주제로 창작된 작품으로 25현의 가야금으로

기운차게 연주되어 관객들에게 흥겨움을 선사한다. 노래와 즉흥 대금연주로 연주되는 국악가

요 ‘독도 아리랑, 배띄워라’가 무대의 분위기를 신명나게 이끈 뒤 우리나라 대표 민요인‘아리랑’

이 다양한 장단으로 연주된다. 관객들이 공연자와 한 목소리가 되어 한국인의 영혼이 담긴 아

리랑을 함께 부르며 우리 음악에 대한 깊은 감동과 여운을 느껴갈 수 있을 것이다.

The stage is filled with both original and traditional musics in order to present the excellence and diversity of Korean music to the audience. Today’s opening stage will be ‘Namdo Minyo Medley’, which is Namdo’s regional folk songs characterizing the harmony of sounds and plays. Then, the original song ‘Biiklyeonli’ describes deep and harmonious relationship between a married couple through Haegeum(chordophone) solo. The word, Yeonriji from the title means synchronizing the body and mind. The third performance is the traditional instruments play titled ‘Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da’. As a song of Beatkes and a movie OST, the famous song will be redecorated through the sounds of Korean traditional instruments. ‘The Style of 宮 Taryeong’ continues the sequence. The song was created under the theme of Gyeonggi re-gional folk song, ‘Gyeongbokgeung Taryeong’. By playing with 25 string zither Gayageum, its powerful sounds delivers excitement to the audience. One of Korea’s most representative folk song called ‘Arirang’ will be played in various rhythms after the imprompt playing of Daegeum(oboe), Gukak Gayo ‘Dokdo Arirang, Set a Boat Afloat’. The audience will be able to feel the heart-moving atmosphere by singing the soulful song, ‘Arirang’ together.

이번 공연은 전통타악과 연희를 즐길 수 있는 놀이의 장을 제공하고 우리 문화를 관객들

과 함께 나누기 위하여 기획되었다. 관객들이 마음껏 놀다 가길 바라는 마음으로 이번 공

연의 제목도 ‘놀다’, ‘놀이’의 순우리말인 ‘노랏’이 되었다. 첫 무대인 ‘길놀이’는 모든 공연

자가 공연의 문을 열고 시작을 힘차게 알리는 작품으로 관객들의 신명과 흥을 돋아줄 것

이다. 이어지는 ‘고성오광대 탈춤’은 오광대의 다섯 마당 중 유일하게 독무로 진행되는 과

장이다. 양반이었다가 문둥병에 걸려 고통받게 되는 이의 애환을 보여줌과 동시에 다시 소

고를 들고 춤을 추는 모습을 보여줌으로써 관객들에게 희망의 의미를 전달하고자 한다.

꽹과리, 장구, 북, 징 4개의 악기로 연주하는 ‘삼도사물노리’, 기존 버나놀이에 극적인 요소

와 마임을 접목한 ‘버나마임’, 관객들도 함께 참여하여 우리 소리를 배우는 ‘우리소리 배우

기’도 관객들을 기다리고 있다. 마지막은 전통타악의 진수를 보여주는 연희판이 장식한다.

이번 공연을 통해 우리 전통음악의 매력과 흥겨움을 많은 관객들에게 전달하고 이를 통해

우리 문화에 대한 관심을 높이고자 한다.

The stage is directed to provide a venue playing traditional percussions and entertainments as well as sharing the Korean culture with the audience. Based on the purpose providing playful time to the audience, the title, ‘Norat’ is came from the original form of Korean words, Nolda and Nolee in which means play. The first stage called ‘Gilnori’, all performers opens the stage and inform the beginning of the show. Next, ‘Goseong Ogwangdae Talchum’ is a mask dance, which is the only solo performing stage from the five sequence of the performing arts. The story shows joys and sorrows of a nobleman’s life, who got the leprosy. By showing his pitiful life and cheerful Sogo(small handed drum) dance, the stage coveys the meaning of hope to the audience. Following performances will be ‘Samdo Samulnori’, playing of four music instru-ments, Kkwaenggwari(small gong), Jing(big gong), Janggu(hourglass shaped drum), and Buk(drum). ‘Beona Mime’, a fusion acrobatic performing arts; the dramatic elements of Beonanori(spinning plates) and mime. ‘Lecture of Korean Song’, an opportunity the audience can learn Korean musics. Then, the ‘Yunhui Pan’ heightens the finale.

제432회 일요열린민속무대 The 432nd Sunday Performance


오늘의 공연은 아름답고 우아한 한국무용의 대표적인 작품들로 구성되어 관객들에게 환

상적인 볼거리를 제공한다.

첫 무대인 ‘화관무’는 하늘이 열리는 순간을 축하하는 춤이다. 화려한 궁중의 혼례복인 대

례복을 입고 추는 ‘화관무’는 그 화려함과 아름다움으로 관객들의 시선을 휘어잡을 것이

다. 이어서 ‘쟁강춤’이 이어진다. ‘쟁강춤’은 10인 군무이지만 이번 공연에서는 1인 독무

로 재구성하여 관객들에게 참신함을 전달할 것이다. 섬세하고 애절한 몸놀림을 중심으로

세련미와 교태미를 보여주는 ‘부채입춤’, 사랑하는 연인들의 수줍음과 달콤함을 표현하는

‘사랑가’, 역동적인 기운으로 무대를 압도하는 ‘진도북춤’이 계속 이어진다.

마지막 무대는 ‘지전춤’이 장식한다. ‘지전춤’은 흰 창호지를 길게 찢어 뭉친 지전을 손에

들고 추는 춤이다. 지전을 사방으로 흩뿌리는 절도 있는 동작이 매력적인 ‘지전춤’은 관객

들에게 힘있는 기운과 그 속에 담긴 절제를 전달해줄 것이다.

Today’s performances are organized with representative pieces of beautiful and elegant Korean dance, offering spectacular shows to the audience.The first stage, ‘Hwagwanmu’ is a dance celebrating the opening of the sky. Hwagwanmu’ will attract the audience through its splendor and beauty, wearing royal wedding gourmets. Follow-ing performance, ‘Jaenggangchum’ is originally a group dance of 10 performers. But, in this stage, it is recreated for a solo dance to deliver the novelty to the audience. ‘Buchaeipchum’ that shows the sophistication and beauty of coquetry, ‘Sarangga’ that express the shyness and sweet-ness of couples, and Jindo Bukchum’, a dynamic stage of drum beats. ‘Jijeonchum’, dancing with long and white papers closes the stage. Performer’s dancing in the spreads of papers will present energetic and restrained movements of ‘Jijeonchum’.

The Ring of Relationship ‘Dance. Companion by Lee Hyomin’


이번 공연은 ‘모두를 어우르다’라는 주제에 기반하여 다양한 연희들로 구성되었다. 공연

속에서 전통과 현대가 함께 어우러지듯 공연을 즐기는 관객들도 공연자들의 흥겨움에 어

우러지게 될 것이라는 의미가 담겨 있다. ‘문굿’과 ‘길놀이’가 마당에 판을 벌려 공연의 시

작을 알린다. ‘문굿’은 본래 농악 연주의 한 절차로서 다양한 형태가 존재하는데 이번 공연

에서는 마당밟기 굿을 선보인다. 이어지는 것은 고사덕담과 액풀이로 구성되어 관객들의

행운을 기원하는 ‘굿LUCK’이다. 세 번째 무대인 ‘화향, 꽃의 울림’은 다채로운 가락과 역

동적인 군무가 돋보이는 모듬북 연주이다. 꽃의 울림이라는 뜻을 지닌 ‘화향’은 북을 칠 때

팔을 뻗고 휘젓는 모양새가 마치 꽃이 피어나는 모습과 같다 하여 붙여진 제목이다. 힘 있

는 군무와 북연주는 관객들에게 역동적인 에너지와 울림을 전달해 줄 것이다. 마지막 무

대 ‘도리판GOOD’은 기존의 판굿과 개인놀이를 공연자들만의 개성으로 재구성하여 활력

넘치는 무대를 만들어 낸 것이다. 관객들은 오늘의 공연을 통해 우리 음악이 가진 흥과 에

너지를 물씬 느낄 수 있을 것이다.

Under the theme of ‘’Gathering’, a variety of festive performances is organized. During the performance. as the tradition and modern performing arts get in harmony, the stage means that the audience will be able to synchronize with the performer’s pleasure. ‘Mungut’ and ‘Gilnori’ stars the stage. ‘Mungut’ is originally a part of Nongak(farmer’s band music). Madan-gbalbgigut will be performed among the various play styles of ‘Mungut’. Next, ‘Gut LUCK’ is a shamanic ritual to drive away evil spirits and pray for blessing remarks in which performers wish good fortune and best of luck for all the audience. Following performance, ‘Hwahyang - The Echo of Flowers.’A group of percussionists displays a powerful drum performance using elaborate hand gestures over dynamic rhythms. The audience may appreciate the rich reso-nance of drums transmitted through the air like the fragrance of flowers spreads out. The closing performance, ‘Doripan GOOD!’ will present exciting traditional artistries to elab-orate each performer’s skillful techniques. Through today’s performances, the audience will be able to feel the energy and pleasure of Korean music in bliss.
