4. EXAMPLES OF SYSTEM CIRCUIT-ENGINE CONTROL(TOYOTA)

系统电路示例 - 发动机控制（丰田）SYSTEM OUTLINE 系统概述

This system utilizes an engine and ECT ECU and maintains overall control of the engine, transmission and so on. An outline of the engine control is explained here.

该系统采用了一个发动机和 ECT ECU 对发动机、变速器等实行全面控制。此处说明的是发动机控制要点。


1.INPUT SIGNALS 输入信号(1) Engine coolant temp. signal circuit

发动机冷却液温度信号电路The EFI water temp. sensor detects the engine coolant temp. and has a built-in thermistor with a resistance which varies according to the water temp. is input into TERMINAL THW of the engine and ECT ECU as a control signal.

EFI 水温传感器检测发动机冷却液温度，内部有一个随水温而变化阻抗的热敏电阻器，输入到发动机和 ECT ECU 的 THW 端子作为控制信号。


(2) Intake air temp. signal circuit

进气温度信号电路The intake air temp. sensor is installed in the air flow meter and detects the intake air temp., which is input as a control signal into TERMINAL THA of the engine and ECT ECU.

进气温度传感器装在空气流量计中，检测进气温度，作为控制信号输入到发动机和 ECT ECU的 THA 端子。


(3) RPM signal system 转速信号系统Camshaft position and crankshaft position are detected by the camshaft position sensor and crankshaft position sensor. The camshaft position is input as a control signal to TERMINAL G22+ of the engine and ECT ECU, and the engine RPM is input into TERMINAL NE+.

凸轮轴位置和曲轴位置通过凸轮轴位置传感器和曲轴位置传感器来检测。凸轮轴位置（信号）作为控制信号输入到发动机和 ECT ECU 的 G22+端子，发动机转速（信号）输入到 NE+ 端子。


(4) Neutral start SW signal system

空档起动开关信号系统

The neutral start SW detects whether the shift position is in neutral, parking or not, and inputs a control signal into TERMINAL STA of the engine and ECT ECU.

空档起动开关检测档位是否位于空档和驻车档，输入控制信号输入到发动机和 ECT ECU 的 STA端子。


(5) A/C SW signal system

空调开关信号系统

The A/C amplifier inputs the A/C operations into TERMINAL A/C of the engine and ECT ECU as a control signal.

空调放大器输入空调工作（信号）到发动机和 ECT ECU 的 A/C 端子。


(6) Intake air volume signal circuit

进气量信号电路

Intake air volume is detected by the air flow meter and a signal is input into TERMINAL VG of the engine and ECT ECU as a control signal.

通过进气流量计来检测进气量，信号被输入到发动机和 ECT ECU 的 VG 端子当作控制信号。


(7) Engine knock signal circuit

发动机爆燃信号电路

Engine knocking is detected by the knock sensor 1 and 2, then the signals are put into TERMINAL KNKR and KNKL of the engine and ECT ECU as a control signal.

通过一号和二号爆燃传感器检测发动机爆燃，信号输入到发动机和 ECT ECU 的 KNKR 和 KNKL 端子当作控制信号。


2.CONTROL SYSTEM 控制系统(1) ESA (Electronic Spark Advance) system

ESA （电子点火提前）系统The ESA system monitors the engine condition through the signals, which are input to the engine and ECT ECU from each sensor (input signals from 1,3,11).

通过输入发动机和 ECT ECU 的每一个传感器信号（ 1 、 3 、 11 的输入信号）， ESA 系统监视发动机（工作）状况。


The best ignition timing is decided according to this data and the memorized data in the engine and ECT ECU and the control signal is output to TERMINAL IGT1, IGT2 and IGT3. This signal controls the igniter to provide the best ignition timing for the driving conditions.

根据该数据以及发动机和 ECT ECU 中储存的数据来确定最佳点火正时，控制信号输出到IGT1 、 IGT2 和 IGT3 端子。该信号控制点火器对行驶状况提供最佳点火正时。


(2) ACIS (Acoustic Control Induction System)ACIS （声控进气系统）

ACIS includes a valve in the bulkhead separating the surge tank into two parts. This valve is opened and closed in accordance with the driving conditions to control the intake manifold length in two stages for increased engine output in all ranges from low to high speed.

ACIS 包括（稳压箱）隔板中的一个阀门，该阀门把稳压箱分隔成两部分，根据行驶状况打开或关闭，将进气歧管长度控制成两截，从而提高自低速到高速所有范围内的发动机输出功率。


The engine and ECT ECU judges the engine speed by the signals((3), (4)) from each sensor and outputs signals to the TERMINAL ACIS to control the VSV(ACIS).

发动机和 ECT ECU 通过每一个传感器的信号（（ 3）、（ 4））判断发动机转速，输出信号到 ACIS 端子以控制（ ACIS 的） VSV 。


3.DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM 诊断系统

With the diagnosis system, when there is a malfunction in the engine and ECT ECU signal system, the malfunctioning system is recorded in the memory.

利用诊断系统，当发动机和 ECT ECU 信号系统存在故障时，失灵的系统会被记录到存储器中。


4.FAIL-SAFE SYSTEM 失效安全系统When a malfunction occurs in any systems, if there is a possibility of engine trouble being caused by continued control based on the signals from that system, the fail-safe system either controls the system by using data (Standard values) recorded in the engine and ECT ECU memory or else stops the engine.

任何系统发生故障时，如果由该系统发出的连续控制信号可能引起发动机故障，失效安全系统就用记录在发动机和 ECT ECU存储器中的数据（标准值）来该控制系统，或者将发动机熄火。
