บทคดยองานวจยฉบบนเปนงานวจยเชงคณภาพมจดมงหมายเพอวเคราะหโครงสรางของประโยคท

ปรากฏในวรรณกรรม และศกษารปแบบภาษาประเภทโวหารภาพพจนในหนงสอประเภทวรรณกรรมโดยศกษาจากวรรณกรรมเรอง THE HUNGER GAME แตงโดย SUZANNE COLLINS ผลการวจยพบวารปแบบโครงสรางประโยคทใชในงานเขยนนมากทสดคอโครงสรางประโยคประเภท Simplesentence และ Complex sentence นอกจากนรปแบบภาษาประเภทโวหารภาพพจนทพบมากทสดไดแก Simile

AbstractThis research was a qualitative research and the purposes of this research

were to analyze the sentence structures and the figurative languages used in theEnglish literature, THE HUNGER GAME composed by SUZANNE COLLINS. The resultsshowed that the sentence structures used in this work were most of the simplesentences and the complex sentences. In terms of the figurative languages, similewas used most.

1. บทนา

การเรยนภาษาองกฤษใหไดผลด ผเรยนจาเปนตองมความรพนฐานดานไวยากรณเปนสาคญเพราะการมความรดานไวยากรณทดยอมนาไปสความสามารถทจะพฒนาทกษะในการพด การอานและการเขยนไดอยางมประสทธภาพ (ศรรตน ชพนธ, 2549) การเรยนไวยากรณเปนสงสาคญเนองจากเปนเหมอนพาหนะทสาคญตอการเรยนรทจะชวยใหบคคลคดอยางชดเจนยงขน ไวยากรณนนเปนตวสะทอนความคด อกทงยงชวยใหบคคลมความชานาญในการเรยนภาษาตางประเทศไดอยางรวดเรว และชวยใหบคคลมความสามารถในการใชภาษาพดและและภาษาเขยนเปนไปตามระเบยบวธทางสงคม พรอมกบชวยใหบคคลเปนผฟง ผพด ผอานและผเขยนทมประสทธภาพไวยากรณยงเหมอนเปนกระดกสนหลงทเปนพนฐานทชวยใหผเรยนภาษาตางประเทศ ประสบความสาเรจในการเรยนทงทกษะฟง พด อาน และ เขยน โดยเฉพาะทกษะการเขยน ผเขยนจะตองรจกเรยบเรยงประโยคใหเปนขอความทสามารถสอสารและทาใหผอานเขาใจในแนวคดของผเขยนซงถอวาเปนกระบวนการทผเขยนตองถายทอดความคด ความรของตนออกมาใหผอานไดเขาใจ ตองอาศยความรความสามารถในดานศพท ไวยากรณ การสะกดคาและเครองหมายวรรคตอนโดยเฉพาะความรดานไวยากรณเปนสงสาคญมากและเปนปจจยทชวยการเขยนใหชดเจน (จนตนาสจจานนท, 2550) การเขยนหมายถงการสงความหมายหรอการถายทอดความรสก นกคด เสนอแนวคดของผเขยนอยางมจดมงหมาย โดยเรยงลาดบความสาคญอยางมขนตอน และสอความหมายออกมาเปนตวอกษรหรอสญลกษณ ตลอดจนเปนเรองราวได การเขยนอยางนอยตองประกอบดวยความสามารถในการสรางประโยค การนาประโยคมาเรยบเรยงไดอยางมความหมาย เพอใหผอานรบรและเขาใจไดตรงตามเจตนาของผเขยน (สนตย ยอดขนธ, 2552) นอกจากนงานเขยนแตละประเภทมกใชโวหารตางๆกน ซงโวหารคอการใชถอยคาในการสอสาร โดยใชวธการเรยบเรยงอยางมชนเชงมศลปะ เพอใหผอานเขาใจเรองราว เกดจนตนาการ และความรสกตามทผเขยนตองการประเภทของโวหารในการเขยนนนแบงออกไดเปน 5 ประเภทคอ บรรยายโวหาร หมายถงการเขยนอธบายเรองราวตามลาดบเหตการณ พรรณนาโวหารหมายถงการเขยนจากความรสกเชงอารมณและจนตนาการ เทศนาโวหารหมายถงการเขยนทานองสงสอนหรอชแจงเหตผลสาคญ สาธกโวหารหมายถงการเขยนโดยยกตวอยางหรอเรองราวเขามาประกอบ และอปมาโวหาร หมายถงการเขยนเปรยบเทยบโดยใชอปมาอปไมย (นภา กพงษศกด, 2553) วรรณกรรมทกประเภทไมวาจะเปนสารคดสาระบนเทง ขาว นวนยาย วรรณคดหรอรอยกรอง ลวนแลวแตใหขอมลและแนวคดทเกยวของกบบรบททางวฒนธรรมในแตละสงคมของนานาประเทศ วฒนธรรมทสอดแทรกอยนพบไดตงแตรปแบบงานเขยน ตลอดจนสานวนภาษาทใชแตกตางกนไป ซงมสวนชวยในการพฒนาการดานคาศพทและโครงสรางภาษาองกฤษ (วไลรตน ครนทร, 2550)

ดงนนการวจยเรองการวเคราะหโครงสรางภาษาองกฤษเชงพรรณนาโวหาร จะเปนการศกษาโครงสรางภาษาในวรรณกรรมประเภทจนตนยาย เพอใหไดผลวาผเขยนใชรปแบบประโยคแบบใดและใชโวหารภาพพจนใดบางในการพรรณนาเพอใหผอานไดซาบซงไปกบขอความ และสามารถสรางภาพตามทผเขยนไดเขยนไว ผลจากการการวเคราะหโครงสรางภาษาองกฤษเชงพรรณนาโวหารจะนาไปสกระบวนการเรยนการสอน ดานการใชโครงสรางภาษาเพอการสอความหมาย การเลอกใชคาและสานวนทมรปแบบภาษาทไพเราะ และอาจจะเปนประโยชนตอการศกษาวรรณคดองกฤษโดยการวเคราะหจากความสมพนธของลกษณะภาษาศาสตรจะทาให ผเรยนเขาใจในศลปการเขยนความหมาย ความร เนอหา และ ความซาบซงในอรรถรสของภาษาในวรรณคด (aesthetic value)

รปแบบการวจยเปนการวจยเชงคณภาพ (Qualitative research) โดยการวเคราะหรปประโยคตอไปน

1. ศกษาโครงสรางของประโยคทบรรยายเกยวกบรป รส กลน เสยง และสมผสใน วรรณกรรม2. ศกษาประเภทของโวหารภาพพจนทปรากฏในวรรณกรรม

1. วรรณกรรม (literature) (พจนานกรมฉบบราชบณฑตยสถาน พ.ศ.2542, น. 1054)หมายถง งานหนงสอ งานประพนธ บทประพนธทกชนดทงทเปนรอยแกวและรอยกรอง

2. โวหารภาพพจน (figurative of speech) มความหมายตามพจนานกรมราชบณฑตยสถาน พ.ศ.2545 วา “คาพดทเปนสานวนโวหาร ทาใหนกเหนภาพ” หนงสอวรรณสารวจกษณกลาววา โวหารภาพพจนหมายถงถอยคาทเรยบเรยงโดยไมกลาวอยางตรงไปตรงมาผประพนธมเจตนาใหผอานเขาใจ และเกดความรสกประทบใจยงขนกวาการใชคาบอกเลาธรรมดา(www.zoneza.com/โวหารภาพพจน 17/08/2013)

วรรณกรรม (วกพเดย สารานกรมเสร) หมายถงงานเขยนทแตงขนหรองานศลปะทเปนผลงานอนเกดจากการคด และจนตนาการแลวเรยบเรยงนามาบอกเลา บนทก ขบรอง หรอสอออกมาดวยกลวธตางๆ โดยทวไปแลววรรณกรรมแบงเปน 2 ประเภท คอวรรณกรรมลายลกษณหมายถงวรรณกรรมทบนทกเปนตวหนงสอ และวรรณกรรมมขปาฐะ หมายถงวรรณกรรมทเลาดวยปาก ไมไดจดบนทก ดวยเหตนวรรณกรรมจงมความหมายครอบคลมกวางถงประวต นทานตานาน เรองเลา ขาขน เรองสน นวนยาย บทเพลง คาคม เปนตน

วรรณกรรมเปนผลงานศลปะทแสดงออกดวยการใชภาษาเพอการสอสารเรองราวใหเขาใจกนระหวางมนษย ภาษาเปนสงทมนษยคดคน และสรางสรรคขนเพอใชสอความหมาย เรองราวตางๆทมนษยใชในการสอสารไดแก ภาษาพด โดยการใชเสยง ภาษาเขยน โดยการใชตวอกษร ตวเลขสญลกษณ และภาพ ภาษาทาทาง โดยการใชกรยาทาทาง หรอประกอบวสดอยางอน

ความงามหรอศลปะในการใชภาษาขนอยกบ การใชภาษาใหถกตอง ชดเจนและเหมาะสมกบเวลา โอกาส และบคคล นอกจากนภาษาแตละภาษายงสามารถปรงแตงใหเกดความเหมาะสมไพเราะหรอสวยงามได นอกจากนยงมการบญญตคาราชาศพท คาสภาพ ขนมาใชไดอยางเหมาะสมแสดงใหเหนวฒนธรรมทเปนเลศทางการใชภาษาทควรดารงและยดถอตอไป ผสรางงานวรรณกรรมเรยกวานกเขยน นกประพนธ หรอกว (Writer or Poet)

Literature (encyclopedia) is the art of written works. Literally translated, theliterature means “acquaintance with letters”. The two most basic written literarycategories include fiction and non-fiction.

2. วรรณกรรมเชงวรรณศลป หมายถงวรรณกรรมทแตงขนโดยเนนรปแบบ เทคนค และกลวธการประพนธ ไมยงหยอนไปกวาเนอเรอง แตการเสนอความรความคดนน ไมเนนในเรองขอมลอนเปนขอเทจจรงเทากบความบนเทง และสนทรยภาพ กลาวโดยสรปกคอเปนวรรณกรรมทมงใหความบนเทงและสนทรยภาพนนเอง

1. An autobiography is the story of a person’s life written or told by thatperson.

2. A biography is the story of a person’s life written or told by anotherperson.

3. A fable is a story that teaches a moral or a lesson. It often has animalcharacters.

4. Fantasy novels are often set in worlds much different from our own andusually include magic, sorcery and mythical creature.

5. A folktale is a story that has been passed down, usually orally, within aculture. It may be based on superstition and feature supernatural characters.Folktales include fairy tales, tall tales, trickster tales and other stories passed downover generations.

6. A legend is a story that has been handed down over generations and Isbelieved to be based on history, though it typically mixes fact and fiction. The heroof a legend is usually a human.

7. A myth is a traditional story that a particular culture or group onceaccepted as sacred and true. It may center on a god or supernatural being andexplain how something came to be, such as lightning or music or the world itself.

8. Science fiction stories examine how science and technology affect theworld. The books often involve fantasy inventions that may be really in the future.

ประเภทของโครงสรางประโยคภาษาองกฤษรปแบบโครงสรางประโยคในภาษาองกฤษแบงออกเปน 4 ประเภท ดงน1. Simple Sentence (ประโยคความเดยว หรอเอกตถประโยค) หมายถงขอความทพด

ออกไปแลว มใจความเดยวไมกากวม สามารถเขาใจเปนอยางเดยวกนระหวางผพดและผฟง เปนประโยคทมใจความเดยว มประธานเพยงตวเดยวและมกรยาเพยงตวเดยวเทานน

2. Compound Sentence (ประโยคความรวม หรออเนกตถประโยค) หมายถงประโยคทมใจความเดยวมากกวาหนงประโยคมารวมกนโดยมคาเชอม(linking words) ไดแก but, and, so,for และ or เชอมประโยค หรอม conjunctive adverb เชอมประโยคไดแก however,meanwhile, therefore, otherwise, thus, etc.

3. Complex Sentence (ประโยคความซอนหรอสงกรประโยค) หมายถงประโยคทมเนอความซบซอน ถาขาดเนอความใดเนอความหนงแลวทาใหประโยคไมสมบรณ นนคอประกอบดวยประโยคหลก (Main Clause) และ ประโยคยอย (Subordinate Clause) โดยมคาเชอมประโยคทเรยกวา subordinate conjunction ไดแก if, before, because, as if, since, หรอrelative pronoun (สมพนธสรรพนาม)

4. Compound-Complex Sentence (ประโยคความผสม หรออเนกตถสงกรประโยค)หมายถงประโยคทมเนอความหลายเนอความมาอยรวมกน

ความหมายและประเภทของโวหารภาพพจนโวหารภาพพจน คอกลวธการนาเสนอสารโดยการพลกแพลงภาษาทใชพด หรอเขยนให

แปลกออกไปจากภาษาตามตวอกษรทาใหผอานเกดภาพในใจ เกดความประทบใจ เกดความรสกสะเทอนใจ เปนการเปรยบเทยบใหเหนภาพอยางชดเจน

ประเภทของโวหารภาพพจนมดงน1. อปมา (simile) คอการเปรยบเทยบวาสงหนงเหมอนกบสงหนงโดยใชคาเชอมทม

ความหมายเหมอนกบคาวา “เหมอน” เชน ดจ ดง ราว ราวกบ เปรยบ ประดจเชน ปญญาประดจดงอาวธ

2. อปลกษณ (metaphor) คอการเปรยบเทยบดวยการกลาววาสงหนงเปนอกสงหนงเปนการเปรยบเทยบทไมกลาวตรงๆ ใชการกลาวเปนนยใหเขาใจเอง ไมมคาแสดงความหมายวาเหมอนปรากฏอย หรอถาจะใชกใชคาวา เปน หรอ คอ

เชน ชาวนาเปนกระดกสนหลงของชาต

3. บคลาธษฐาน (personification) คอการกลาวถงสงตางๆทไมมชวต ไมมความคด สงทเปนนามธรรม หรอสตว โดยใหสงตางๆเหลานแสดงกรยาอาการและความรสกไดเหมอนมนษย

เชน มองซ..มองทะเล เหนลมคลนเหจบหน4. อตพจน (hyperbole) คอโวหารทกลาวเกนความจรง เพอเนนความรสกใหเดนชดและ

นาสนใจทาใหผฟงเกดความรสกทลกซง ภาพพจนชนดนนยมใชกนมากแมในภาษาพด เพราะเปนการกลาวททาใหเหนภาพไดงาย

เชน คดถงใจจะขาด5. นามนย (metonymy) คอการเปรยบเทยบโดยการใชคาหรอวลซงบงลกษณะหรอ

คณสมบตทเปนจดเดน หรอลกษณะสาคญของสงใดสงหนง หรอการกลาวถงสวนใดสวนหนงของสงใดๆมากลาวแทนคาทใชเรยกสงนนโดยตรง เปนภาพพจนทใชเพอหลกเลยงการใชคาธรรมดาซาซาก

เชน เมองโอง หมายถงจงหวดราชบร6. ปฏพจน (paradox) คอการใชถอยคาทมความหมายตรงกนขาม หรอขดแยงกนมา

กลาวรวมกนไดอยางกลมกลนกน เพอเพมความหมายใหมนาหนกมากยงขนเชน สวยอยางรายกาจเชน ชวตเตมไปดวยความวางเปลา

7. สทพจน (onomatopoeia) คอการใชถอยคาทเลยนเสยงธรรมชาต เชนเสยงดนตรเสยงสตว เสยงคลน เสยงลม เสยงฝนตก เสยงนาไหล ฯลฯ การใชภาพพจนประเภทนจะทาใหเหมอนไดยนเสยงนนจรงๆ

เชน ลกหมารองบอกๆ ๆ ลกนกรองจบๆๆ ลกแมวรองเหมยวๆๆ8. สญลกษณ (symbol) เปนการเรยกชอสงๆหนงโดยใชคาอนมาแทน สวนใหญคาท

นามาแทนจะเปนคาทเกดจากการเปรยบเทยบและตความซงใชกนมานานจนเปนทเขาใจและรจกกนโดยทวไป

เชน สนขจงจอก แทน คนเจาเลห9. อนนามนย (synecdoche) คอการกลาวสวนยอยทมลกษณะเดนของสงนนๆมากลาว

แทนสงทตองการกลาวถงทงหมดเชน มอทเปอนชอลกยงคงมงมนทจะสานฝนใหเปนจรง

(มอทเปอนชอลก หมายถง คร)10. ปฏวาทะ (oxymoron) คอการใชคาทมความหมายตรงกนขามหรอขดแยงกนมารวม

ไวดวยกนเพอใหมความหมายใหม หรอใหความรสกขดแยงกน หรอเพมนาหนกใหแกความหมายของคาแรก

เชน เขาไมเคยยนดยนรายกบฉนเลย (หมายถง เอาใจใส)

Figurative Language is the use of imaginative comparisons to help you see theworld in new ways.

1. Alliteration is the repetition of a single letter in the alphabet (as in “PeterPiper picked a peck of pickle peppers.”) or a combination of letters (as in “She sellsseashells by the seashore.”). It’s just about the easiest form of repetition a poet canuse.

2. A metaphor compares two unlike things. “My baby sister’s a doll,” youmight say, compares your sister’s size and sweetness to that of the perfection of adoll. At another time you might say, “My brother is a rat.” This compares yourbrother to the nastiest little creature you can think of. In both cases you would bemaking a metaphor – a form of comparison that directly compares two unlike things.A metaphor wastes no time in getting to the point.

3. A simile is a comparison of two things, indicated by some connective,usually ‘like’, ‘as’, ‘than’ or a verb such as ‘resemble’ to show how they are similar.

: My sister is like a doll.: My brother’s good as gold.

4. Onomatopoeia is a word designed to be an imitation of a sound.: Six burgers were sizzling on the grill.: A snake slithered through the grass.

5. Personification is the technique of giving a non-human thing humanqualities such as hearing, feeling, talking, or making decisions. Writers usepersonification to emphasize something or make it stand out. Personification makesthe material m0re interesting and creates a new way to look at every day things.

: That carrot cake with the cream cheese icing is calling my name.6. A hyperbole is an exaggeration of the truth, usually meant to be

humorous or funny.: I can eat a million ice cream cones.

7. An idiom is a phrase that is made up of words which can’t be understoodby literal, or ordinary, meaning.

: Cross that bridge when you come to it.It really means “Don’t worry about problems until they actually happen.

8. Allusion is a reference to a famous character or event.: Like Hercules, he is so strong.

9. Imagery is a type of figurative language that appeals to the senses. Thedescriptions can be about living things or inanimate objects.

: A host of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees,Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. ( The word “host” means a huge number.)

10. An oxymoron is a figure of speech in which a pair of opposite orcontradictory terms is used to gather for emphasis.

: Organized chaos, Same difference.11. A paradox is a statement or proposition which is self-contradictory

unreasonable or illogical.: This statement is a lie.

12. A pun is an expression intended for a humorous or rhetorical effect byexploiting different meanings of words.

: I wondered why the ball was getting bigger. Then it hit me.“Then it hit me.” has two different meanings.

งานวจยทเกยวของธนาภรณ พนทว (2541) ผลจากการทดลองแสดงวา การวเคราะหประโยคมผลตอการอาน

เพอความเขาใจของนกศกษา นอกจากนยงพบวา การรความหมายของคาศพทและความรทมอยเดมของผอานเกยวกบสงทอานยงมผลตอความเขาใจในการอานของนกศกษาดวยไมเฉพาะแตความรดานโครงสรางประโยคเทานน และยงพบวา การฝกการใชการวเคราะหประโยคสามารถเพมความตระหนกเกยวกบโครงสรางประโยคและสรางความมนใจในการอานแกนกศกษายงขน ยงไปกวานนนกศกษายงไดแสดงทศนคตทดตอการฝกครงน เนองจากนกศกษาพบวาวธการดงกลาวมประสทธผลและมสวนชวยในการอานเพอความเขาใจของนกศกษา

ศรรตน ชพนธ (2549) การเรยนภาษาองกฤษใหไดผลนน ผเรยนจาเปนตองมความรดานไวยากรณเปนพนฐานสาคญ เพราะการมความรดานไวยากรณภาษาองกฤษทดนน ยอมนาไปสความสามารถทจะพฒนาทกษะในการพด การอาน และการเขยนไดอยางมประสทธภาพ งานวจยนมวตถประสงคเพอศกษาระดบความรพนฐานดานไวยากรณภาษาองกฤษของนกศกษามหาวทยาลยราชภฏสราษฎรธาน และเพอพฒนาการจดการเรยนการสอนและจดทาสอการสอนไดอยางเหมาะสมกบระดบความรพนฐานดานไวยากรณภาษาองกฤษของนกศกษา

ดลฤทย ขาวดเดช (2540) ไดศกษาลกษณะของภาษาจนตภาพในเรองสนของ อศศรธรรมโชต เพอชใหเหนวาการสรางภาษาจนตภาพในเรองสนของอศศร ธรรมโชตเปนลกษณะเดนอนทาใหงานเขยนมความชดเจนงดงาม ผลการศกษาพบวา ภาษาในเรองสนของอศศรธรรมโชตมลกษณะตาง ๆ ซงทาใหผอานเกดจนตภาพทชดเจนลกซงและทาใหผอานเกดอารมณสะเทอนใจอนไดแก การเลนเสยงสมผสคลองจองและจงหวะ การใชคาซอน การใชคาบอกแสง ส การใชคาทาเนยบกว การใชคาทมความหมายตรงกนขาม การซาคา การใชประโยคซาความการใชประโยคคาถาม การใชประโยคยาว การสรางความสมดลทางโครงสรางประโยค การใชภาพพจนและสญลกษณลกษณะการใชภาษทงหมดน มงสรางจนตภาพทสอดคลองกบสารสาคญของเรอง มสมพนธภาพและเปนเอกภาพเพอเชอมโยงไปสการตความและเขาใจสารสาคญของเรองอยางลกซงชดเจน ไดแก จนตภาพของความโหดรายความนาสะพงกลว ความทกข ความเศรา ความเหงาความทอแท และความสนหวงจนตภาพเหลานปรากฎใหเหนอยางเดนชด ในชอเรอง และฉาก อศศร ธรรมโชต เลอกใชสภาพธรรมชาตทโหดรายรนแรง เชน "พาย" "มรสม" และ "ไฟ" เปนสอแสดงความโหดรายทมนษยไดรบใชภาพพจนแบบปบคลาธษฐานคอ ใหธรรมชาตและสถานททากรยาอาการและมความรสกเศรา เชน"ตนหญาเงองหงอย" "ลมครางเศรา ๆ""คลนลมหวนไห" "ทะเลราหา" "ซอยเหงาอางวาง"และใชภาพพจนแบบอตพจนคอ "ทะเลนาตา" เพอสอความรสกเศราทมปรมาณมากมายมหาศาล รวมทงใช"บทเพลงเศรา" "ฝน" เปนสญลกษณของความเหงาเศรา ใช "รถไฟ" และ"เครองจกร" เปนสญลกษณของสงคมสมยใหมทเตมไปดวยความโหดราย และใช "หมาบา" เปนสญลกษณของมนษยทไรจรยธรรมในการควบคมพฤตกรรมของตนเอง จนตภาพตาง ๆ เหลานสงผลใหสารสาคญท อศศรธรรมโชต สอมายงผอานโดดเดน และเขมขนดวยพลงความคด โดยสอผานความงดงามแหงวรรณศลป

ตงแตปคศ. 2008 และไดสรางปรากฎการณไปทวโลก โดยเปนหนงสอตดอนดบขายดของ NEWYORK TIMES และไดรบการแปลไปมากกวา 42 ภาษา เปนหนงสอทไดรบรางวลมากมาย เชนCybils Award ประเภทวรรณกรรมเยาวชนแฟนตาซ-วทยาศาสตรยอดเยยม และไดรบการจดสรางเปนภาพยนตรออกฉายเมอวนท 12 มนาคม 2555

2.1 Simple Sentence (ประโยคความเดยว) หมายถงขอความทพดออกไปแลวมใจความเดยวไมกากวม สามารถเขาใจเปนอยางเดยวกนระหวางผพดและผฟง เปนประโยคทมใจความเดยว มประธานเพยงตวเดยวและมกรยาเพยงตวเดยว หรอ มประธานตวเดยว แตมกรยารวมหรอมประธานรวม และ กรยารวม

2.2 Compound Sentence (ประโยคความรวม) หมายถงประโยคทมใจความเดยวมากกวาหนงประโยคมารวมกนโดยมคาเชอม (linking words) ไดแก but, and, so, for และor เชอมประโยค หรอม conjunctive adverb เชอมประโยคไดแก however, meanwhile,therefore, otherwise, thus, etc.

2.3 Complex Sentence (ประโยคความซอน) หมายถงประโยคทมเนอความซบซอน ถาขาดเนอความใดเนอความหนงแลวทาใหประโยคไมสมบรณ นนคอประกอบดวยประโยคหลก (Main Clause) และ ประโยคยอย (Subordinate Clause) โดยมคาเชอมประโยคทเรยกวาsubordinate conjunction ไดแก if, before, because, as if, since, หรอ relative pronoun(สมพนธสรรพนาม)

2.4 Compound-Complex Sentence (ประโยคความผสม) หมายถงประโยคทมเนอความหลายเนอความมาอยรวมกน

ความรสกสะเทอนใจ เปนการเปรยบเทยบใหเหนภาพอยางชดเจน ซงในการศกษาครงนแบงโวหารภาพพจนออกเปน 12 ประเภทตาม Miss Spott (2000) และ wikipedia

Figurative Language is the use of imaginative comparisons to help yousee the world in new ways.

3.1 Alliteration is the repetition of a single letter in the alphabet (asin “Peter Piper picked a peck of pickle peppers.”) or a combination of letters (as in“She sells seashells by the seashore.”). It’s just about the easiest form of repetitiona poet can use.

3.2 A metaphor compares two unlike things. “My baby sister’s adoll,” you might say, compares your sister’s size and sweetness to that of theperfection of a doll. At another time you might say, “My brother is a rat.” Thiscompares your brother to the nastiest little creature you can think of. In both casesyou would be making a metaphor – a form of comparison that directly comparestwo unlike things. A metaphor wastes no time in getting to the point.

3.3 A simile is a comparison of two things, indicated by someconnective, usually ‘like’, ‘as’, ‘than’ or a verb such as ‘resemble’ to show how theyare similar.

: My sister is like a doll.: My brother’s good as gold.

3.4 Onomatopoeia is a word designed to be an imitation of a sound.: Six burgers were sizzling on the grill.: A snake slithered through the grass.

3.5 Personification is the technique of giving a non-human thinghuman qualities such as hearing, feeling, talking, or making decisions. Writers usepersonification to emphasize something or make it stand out. Personification makesthe material more interesting and creates a new way to look at every day things.

: That carrot cake with the cream cheese icing is calling myname.

3.6 A hyperbole is an exaggeration of the truth, usually meant to behumorous or funny.

: I can eat a million ice cream cones.

3.7 An idiom is a phrase that is made up of words which can’t beunderstood by literal, or ordinary, meaning.

: Cross that bridge when you come to it.It really means “Don’t worry about problems until they actually

happen.3.8 Allusion is a reference to a famous character or event.

: Like Hercules, he is so strong.3.9 Imagery is a type of figurative language that appeals to the

senses. The descriptions can be about living things or inanimate objects.: A host of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the

trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. ( The word “host” means a hugenumber.)

3.10 An oxymoron is a figure of speech in which a pair of opposite orcontradictory terms is used to gather for emphasis.

: Organized chaos, same difference.3.11 A paradox is a statement or proposition which is self-

contradictory unreasonable or illogical.: This statement is a lie.

3.12 A pun is an expression intended for a humorous or rhetoricaleffect by exploiting different meanings of words.

: I wondered why the ball was getting bigger. Then it hit me.“Then it hit me.” has two different meanings.

mother.: This is the day of the reaping.: We’ll have a real feast.

2. Compound Sentence ประโยคความรวม เชน: His shirt is made of the same yellow material as my dress,

but Portia’s put him in long black pants.: They drive us through the streets in a car with blackened

windows, and the train’s waiting for us.: He waits, for further explanation, but none’s forthcoming.

3. Complex Sentence ประโยคความซอน เชน: I can sprint faster than any of the girls in our school

although a couple can beat me in distance races.: If there’s one rabbit, there could be hundreds just waiting

to be snared.: The whole thing’s been more than you ever could have

dreamed of.

4. Compound-Complex Sentence ประโยคความผสม เชน: This in itself is dangerous since the branches are becoming

precariously thin even for me, but I persevere.: By her position, leaning up against the trunk of the tree, I’d

9. อภปรายผลจากการศกษาโครงสรางประโยคในวรรณกรรมเรอง THE HUNGER GAME นนนอกจาก

ประโยคสมบรณทง 4 ประเภททกลาวมาแลวขางตนไดแก simple sentence, compoundsentence, complex sentence และ compound-complex sentence แลว ผเขยนยงใชโครงสรางประโยคทไมสมบรณ (Incomplete sentence) ในการเลาเรองเชน
