OUR MISSIONARY PARTNERSHIP

Dear Brothers   S i s t e r s i n C h r is t

I t i s a pleasure to t e l l you what God has done in the places -where we work. My familyand I send greet ings and our prayers are t h a t a l l goes well with you.

Two new memlDers were added to the church, in Cuautla, the beginning o f February. They

are Widelbalalo Ramirez and h i s wife, Graci el a, and they come to us from one of our churchesi n Mexico C i t y .

Also, in the mon tti of March, two more were added, to  ttiechurch, in Cuautla. They comefrom the Chiirch of God, and they b ro u ^t th eir families, which are veiy large, and have noty e t been converted.

We have had much sickness, in Cuautla, and some of  thas been serious. One example i sMaria d e l Socorro, who i s the wife o f one o f -Oie members Jaime Reyes Morelos, who i s n o t

yet a member. While they were v is it in g in Mexico City l a s t month, Maria del Socorro, suffered a miscarriage. They returned immediately to Cuautla. The dtiurch i n Cuautla has a doctorwho i s a member and does not charge the poor members, of the missions where we serveo Thedoctor 's name i s Jose Nelzahualcoyote Deloya Lopez. When a member of the church i s in need, whether  t i s sickness or something else tha t i s a r e a l need, the other members get togetherand give whatever is necessary to meet that needo We haveN^ied to teach -ttiem not onlyChristian stewardship, but, also Christian ho^itality, one toVard another. There existsmuch Christ ian love among t he b re th re n.

I want t o mention here what I f a il e d t o mention e a r l i e r . J a i r r e Reyeo Moralex and Mar ia

del Socoirro are both invalids» He had i n f a n t i l e paralysis when he was foxir yea rs o ld . Hei s now 28 and since he was four, one of h i s legs have been completely useless. When Mariadel Socorro was two years old, she was dropped and f ta ct ur ed he r iq?inal column. She i s now29 and can only walk with orthopedic braces. They are very poor. I take them to services

  t h e t r u c k .In Zacatepec, we a l s o have some sickness. One of the members, Maria ELer ra Cayares,

has a bad kidney. ELease help us by remembering these people who are sick in your prayers. We've had to enlarge th e p lac e where we meet, in Zacatepec, because we jus t don' t f i t

anymore. We b u i l t a temporary building out of cane and g r a s s W e used t h i s type of materialbecause  ti s the cheapest, but even then i t co st us  ^,000.00 pesos,( 235.00 dollars), andt h a t s a l o t of money for here. We'll use the building unti l the chtirch building i s finishednext October. On ihe property, where we are going to build, the congregation i s going tobuild a water tank and put in a septic tank for the r e s t rooms. This i s going to take a l l

that we have in the church treasury. We also want to put a fence around the property, butwe won't be able to do this soon. I t i s urgent that this be done as soon as possible, because when there i s no fence, the non-chris tian i s bad about entering t he p roperty and takingwhatever they find, or throw their garbage on the property.

The members a t Zacatepec can't wait \mtil they have their own building. And they arethankful to those of you who have given them this hope, which soon ^ould become a reali ty.

At the beginning of March, we were a t Colegio Biblico in Ea^e Pass, Texas, and foundboxes that contained very usefil things for us and the churches.   received Sunday Schoolmaterial, kitchen items for my wife, toothbru^es   paste, pens, pencils, typewriter paper, carbon paper, 2 toxes of shoes, and used clothing. Many, many thanks to everyone who had ap a r t in sending these things. May God bless you a l l .

I t i s very hot here now, and as a result , we can only visi t very late in the afternoon, because no one i s home a t any other time. Since there a re many rivers, streams and resorts, the people, as soon as they get off work, go to these places to swim. We are having a rev i v a l i n Zacatepec.

My dau^ter . Carmen, i s th e teacher of the 5 to 7 year old Sunday School classo On one

occasion, she asked her students i f they knew the names of the apostles. One boy said yes, that h is mother had t a u ^ t them to him,and he began to reci te: Andrew, John, James, Genesisand Apocalypse.

My wife continues to t rans la te EngpLish materials to Spanidi, to use i n the Sun.Schools.My son, Lalo, i s the treasurer of the young people's group. Efren continues to get goodg r a d e s i n s c h o o l .

We'll have to say,.goodby for this time, hopingc to have good news about the revival, inmy next newsletter. We ask you to continue to pray for us, we are having serious economicalproblems. The inf lation in this country has caused the prices to soar. This month, theyraised our house rent again, and we continue on the same budgeted amount of  500.00 monthlythat we've been receiving for the past two years. We are thankful for this amount and praythat God will somehow provide the additional funds that we so desperately need.

My wife, my children and I pray that God will continue to bless each one of you, who

have a part in this ministry of preaching Christ in the State of Morelos, Mexico,

In C h r i s t Jesus,

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. By the time you receivethis, we should have arrived in Mexico. Serving ds ambasSddoLa for Chris t, and representing^each supporting church and the Forwarding Agent Church. We are priviledged to be set apart forthis task. (Read about Paul's first missionary journey in Acts 13)

Not only will we share in the physical work of constructing the building, but we will share in the fel lowship of like believers. Tho we might have a language barrier we are not strangers

,,Ephesians 2:18-22, For through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father. So thenyou are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are ofGod s household, having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesusn .mself being the comer stone in whom the whole building, being fitted together is growing into aholy temple in the Lond; in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the

. Spirit .

Yes, being part of this  building is exciting. The church house will be a wonerful instm-ment to be used for the building of the Kingdom in Zacatepec.

Jimenez Judith Recendiz, isac Recendiz, Eleasau Vaiton Cregorio Vaiton Ricardo RodriguezJ u a n C a l d e r o n .

In the meeting las t Saturday 16 young people were no t vet Christians. The f i r s t pr oj e c t of th e young people t h a t are Christins i s to lead these others to Chr i st . Next Sat ur -

-day^ these young r^ope vrill a l l together in Zacatepec a t Zacateoec to v crk on thenew b u i l d i n g and t o do some v i s i t i n g in th e afternoon. That night they v/ill have t h e i r

The Cuautla youth have more experience as Ch ristin s and a re very a c t i v e . They ha d alot to do with the evanaelistic work at Zacateoec, when th e work was started there and theyar e th e ones, with th e help of some aduts which pretty much take charge of th e Sundaya c tivit ie s in Cuautla. They will be teaching th e Zacatepec youth how to organize and how todo evangel i st i c work. I taught them an d now we are seeino th e s ee ds b ea r f r u i t on e hundred

The church in Zacatepec with i t s new building requires more atten tio n an d more ofour time. The members were not used to having services on Sundav afternoon. ^-Then we s t a r t

ed them th e attendance was very low, but t h i s problem i s now being solved.   y wife and jnow si^end a l l day Sunday a t Zacatepec not returning home u n t i l ni ght .

Sugar cane is now being harvested in Zacateoec, and th e tonwn has new l i f e because onceagain ther e is work. The harvest la sts 7 months, from November to May and then there aref i v e months when most o f th e p eo p le a re unemployed.

We've had some s ick ness in th e congregation including our daughter. Carmen. She wassick fo r about 2 weeks with debngue, a virus infection caused by a mosquito bite. Apparent-

-J^y^^there is no rsedicine for treatment. Carmen was sick on he r birthday November 5th. Other church-̂ -nembers had various sicknesses bu t we are thankful that none have been r eal seri o u s .

IirL]jjTentin^--the fact mv truck was broken into while parked on th e street andeverything of value was stolen, incuding my tools: jack, lug wrench battery cables, moneyt ^ l s for cutt ing lumber, and everythina thev considered valuable. They didn t take theBibles and church literature. The things I miss most are the tools because of the longtrips I make over very bad roads. Now I don't have so much as a screv/driver to carrya l o n g s h o u l d I h av e t r o u b e .

y wife, children and i have alv;ays worked in the Lord's work, beause of our faith inorder that souls might be saved. We ar e also convinced the only way we can show our gratitude to th e Lord is through th e work we do fo r Him. The same is true in order to show ourgratitude to you, my brothers and friends fo r your love an interest that you have sha-/n fo rus and the work here in Morelos, we can only tell you about our work But we can t alwaysreport success. Many times there are failures people who came to church and became membersand then later niturn to the v/orld e can sincerely say, however, that for a long time we

haven't had this kind of failure. But the road to success in the Lord's work in this partof the world, is slow. I t requires much work, much patience and much tact. We plead withyou not to withdraw your love, nor your interest nor your patience. You and our family isbeing used by the Lord that  e might be glorified and many might come to kneel before Him.

Once aqain, my dear brethren, our prayer is that the Lord wil bless an keep you.
