Augumentation index, pulse wave velocity를이용한 arterial stiffness의 측정은 관상 동맥 질환에서 병의 경과를 예측하고 치료 횩효과를 판정하는 중요한 변수로 인정되고
있으며 향후 많은 연구가 진행될 것으로 생각된다.
