Co-occurance of Mycotoxins is common in feed ingredients and complete feed. Thetoxicity respose and clinical sign observed in animals when more than one Mycotoxin ispresent in feed are complex and diverse. Mycotoxin combination exert a greater

negative impact on health and productivity of animals. These toxicological interactionscan be additive, synergistic or antagonistic. Combined interactions can result inset of diagnostic ill effects that differ from the sum of individual effect. These toxin toxin interaction cause greater damage to the animal and silently kill huge productivity.

Solution to these limitation required just not mineral binders rathercomprehensive broad spectrum mycotoxin inhibitor, binder and bio-neutralizer is required for effective control of Mycotoxin menace.

v Charcoal is obtained by burning wood, nutshells, coconut husks, animal bones, and/or other carbonaceous (carbon-containing)materials.

v It is activated by heating it with steam to approximately 1000 oCin the absence of oxygen (O2).

v A single gram of such material can have 400 to 1,200 m2 ofsurface area, 98% of it is internal.

v A C is a relatively non-specific sequestrate with great potential asan antidote for acute exposure to several mycotoxins.

v Different grades of activated carbon have variable effects inadsorbing mycotoxins and other toxins.

v It is used as discoloring agent invitamin tonics.

    v M B index of the 250 mg/gindicates the mesoporosity which

    adsorbs mycotoxins effectively.

    Organic Acids

The organic acids in Avsorb Forteposses an inhibitory influence on

Mould growth and thus reduces furtherproduction of Mycotoxins

Apart from Mycotoxins they also binds

pesticides & fertilizers in the feed

v Posses a characteristic of 2:1 Layer structure.

    v High surface area of 600- 800 sq.mt/gram.

v Non-expansible clay with high negative charge.

v Aflatoxins and Ochratoxins are positively charged toxins.

v High affinity for Aflatoxin B1 followed by Ochratoxins. Alsobinding is rapid so removes from gut before absorbed.
