The Client

Through MaaXcloud, Mural is able to assist
a business in finding, onboarding and
supporting the right cloud solution, and to
continue providing additional support after
implementation. Mural has assisted busi-
ness customers of leading ISVs, hosting
providers and telecom operators in a wide
variety of successful migrations to cloud IT.
The Challenge
Because the majority of Mural’s partners
don’t have the expertise to move their
business customers to cloud IT, Mural’s
services are highly valued as an added
component in a partner’s product cata-
logue. Additionally, because small to mid-
sized businesses are not typically savvy
in the many technical details involved in
moving to cloud IT, Mural’s MaaXcloud
needs to be highly intuitive, non-technical,
and cost-effective, while helping a business
customer avoid disruption and maximize
their use of cloud IT.
For some time, Mural has used Outlook’s
built-in PST export functionality as their
primary means for handling mailbox migra-
tion to Office 365. However, having found it
to be a cumbersome and arduous process
for the scale of migrations they were rou-
tinely performing, Mural determined that
PST export was simply not a sustainable
long-term solution.
And because a manual migration would
ultimately be too labor-intensive and come
with too much risk, Mural needed a single,
all–encompassing migration solution

In parallel to Mural’s growing needs for better Office 365 migra-
tion tools, BitTitan also recognized that technology alone was not
enough to fully address all the challenges in moving a business
customer to Office 365. With planning, change management,
end-user setup, training, and usage adoption being critical com-
ponents of a successful migration, BitTitan identified the need for
a qualified partner to deliver this full migration experience using
MigrationWiz as a core tool.
The Solution
After testing several products that were either too cumbersome
to configure, had an overly technical interface, or simply were not
cost-effective for the scale of projects they needed to conduct,
Mural decided to partner with BitTitan’s MigrationWiz.
MigrationWiz features an intuitive user interface, cost-effective price
point, and easy configuration. With a straightforward setup process
and lack of software to install on local machines, Mural determined
MigrationWiz is the premier cloud-based email migration solution.
Going beyond the mailbox messages themselves, MigrationWiz
can seamlessly move any attached documents or files, public
folders, archives, and PSTs from source to destination servers, all
from a single web portal. MigrationWiz is also capable of handling
complicated scenarios, including destination servers that use
multiple email platforms, and hosted exchange providers that do
not allow access to other mailboxes. As Mural began using Migra-
tionWiz, they immediately discovered its ability to scale to large,
complicated projects without any plugins or software to install.
Pairing MigrationWiz and MaaXcloud has created a strong focus
on execution, simplicity, and customer satisfaction. Mural has pro-
ductized an onboarding service with repeatable scope, a defined
price, and predictable outcomes and quality. MaaXcloud increases
activation, reduces churn, lowers ongoing support costs, grows

company whose hosted exchange provider did not allow granting
access to other mailboxes. We were essentially left with having
to manually gather eighty passwords for over eighty people. With
MigrationWiz, we are able to send out password request emails
and let the users type in their own credentials, saving us time and
making the entire process much easier to complete.”

The Outcome
Since implementation, Mural has noticed a correlation with
MigrationWiz: The more they offer it to their customers, the more
accounts they’re able to support. “BitTitan has taken all the hard
work and made it into a one-stop shop for email migrations,” said

Additionally, Zimba noted that Mural has now been able to acquire
new customers faster than ever before – a true testament to the
flexibility and labor cost reduction provided by MigrationWiz.
“BitTitan and MigrationWiz have enabled Mural to handle more
projects,” said Zimba. “I believe we would not be able to handle the
large volume of deals we’re receiving without MigrationWiz.”
