CDAHK is currently working with the Apps Lab of City

University to develop a new android app: The posture

Analysis Screening and Evaluation Software. This

application is geared for Chiropractors, Healthcare

Professionals, Fitness Professionals, teachers and

parents who wish to objectively and quickly analyze

the posture of existing or prospective patients at a

spinal screening or any patient/client encounter. Then

you can quickly render posture screen analysis and

evaluation findings to prospective patients/clients with

this posture screen evaluation software and capture

patient demographics, email the prospective patient

/client their findings using secure encrypted PDF, and

finally locate a CDAHK Chiropractor for advice.

During the development of the Posture

App, BBC World News had interviewed

Professor Ray Cheung from CityU on

the topic of "We can Code" on July

29th 2014. Our joint project was

announced during the interview and it

will make a great tool in educating the

public about spinal health.

3rd meeting with CityU Professor Ray

Cheung on the advancement of

Posture Analyzer in Aug. CityU students,

Rayne and Mani, were able to code

more features than most of the

professional advertising companies.

Lyceum 2014, New Zealand College of Chiropractic September 19th-21st

New Zealand College of Chiropractic stands on the principles of integrity,

excellence, vision, gratitude and love and we are happy to celebrate the

20 years anniversary of New Zealand Chiropractic College at the Lyceum.

New Zealand is one of the best places to practice chiropractic. Thanks Dr.

Phil McMaster and his entire NZ College of Chiropractic team for their

amazing hospitality. At the President's Breakfast, CDAHK Chairman Dr Eric

Chu met with the local leaders and understand the history how had

developed the successful chiropractic education model in New Zealand.

We will launch our new CDAHK posture check app on the day. This is a great

opportunity to learn more about the CDAHK posture check app which is

developed by the Apps Lab City University, HK. There will be a live

demonstration on how to use the posture check app by City U on stage.

We are expecting to have around 1000 participants; we need your help and

support!! We are looking for 4 chiropractors to help out with the free spinal

Maybe your child excited to start school,

their moods were up shifted and the first

few weeks were nothing but smiles, then

they became cranky and complain daily

about their necks or backs and the

heaviness of their school packs. Many

parents are buying desk chair, books, and

school packs for children but they do not

know the proper way to chose a good

health product.

A good mattress sets the design to

provide correct posture alignments and

pressure relief, allowing the sleeper,

regardless of habits, body shape or position,

to relief the most restorative sleep. Dr Albert

Leung D.C. (CDAHK Founding President),

was interviewed with the Apple Daily about

sleep and mattresses.

HK360 is an integrated, handy to carry, monthly bilingual travel magazine featuring the latest information for travelers, including special offers and added value information at a variety of shopping, dining and sight-seeing spots in Hong Kong. It is currently distributed to tourists at 100+ locations including hotels, shopping malls, attraction spots, and Tourist Information Centers. CDAHK Chiropractor’s Directory will be with Hong Kong 360.

Roadshow and Chiropractic Seminar: We Bring Chiropractic to the People

Dr Queenie Leung and Dr Jessica Lee had assisted "Posture and

Health" event with Legislative Council Ms Regina Ip. They had

provided spinal screening to the local public and served quality

chiropractic information to Hong Kong.

We believe Spinal Health Screenings are a critical component to

educating Hong Kong people about the effects of subluxation

and demonstrating how chiropractic care may improve overall

health. Spinal screening exams provided by Dr Alvin Hsu (Public

Relation Assistant) and Dr Attie Choi (CDAHK Member) with a

new understanding of wellness, empowering them to take

control of their health

Community, to find if there are any imbalances in

their posture.

Health Check Day 2014 with Carnation

Women's Association.

during pregnancy.

The seminar was hosted at Sky100 Hong Kong Observation

Deck, which is located on the 100th floor of the tallest

building in HK, ICC.

Over 100 parents have learned the importance of

establishing pelvic balance and delivering natural, non-

invasive birth.

Dr Eric Chu, Chairman of CDAHK, spoke at BabyKingdom

x 03 Baby members about Chiropractic care, Pregnancy

and Pediatric.

He described that "There are no known contraindications

to chiropractic care throughout pregnancy. Chiropractors

that have been trained to work with pregnant women

may use tables that adjust for a pregnant woman’s body,

and they will use techniques that avoid unneeded

pressure on the abdomen.

Dr Barry Decker D.C. (CDAHK member) and Dr Mark Brown

(Australian DC) shares about the advantage of using

the Orthotic Flip Flop, Equilibras at Dr Decker's chiropractic

office. The equilibras design consists of a semi-hard orthotic,

bottom layer and soft upper layer, that mimics natural

surfaces, with every step over and over again… The surfaces

our brain requires to develop and retain foot sensitivity and

through it, maintain proper balance and posture, which

contributes to good health. The picture is the review of

muscle testing on the orthotics.

chiropractors and families. Dr Lucina

Ng (CDAHK Fellowship) had arranged

first war game for chiropractic family

to gathering on a Sunday morning.

Dr Kary Lam (CDAHK Secretary) and Dr Lucina

Ng (Fellowship) had organized the CDAHK's

fellowship overnight trip: Zhuhai Chime-Long

Ocean Kingdom.

We stayed at the Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel,

the largest ocean ecological theme hotel in

China. Chimelong Ocean Kingdom hold in The

Guinness Book of World Records as, the records

for "largest underwater viewing dome, largest

aquarium tank, largest aquarium window and

largest acrylic panel," CDAHK DCs and families

visited the the aquariums, and features nine

water-themed lands with roller coasters, water

rides and animal exhibits.
