The blank brain competition

Instructions for community pharmacists

1. Taking part is very simple! Just fill in the spaces either with pictures or with words, and tell us the things that are on your mind, and the things that you may be doing at any one time. You may have “different brains” for when you are working in the pharmacy, and when you are at home – you can do either (or both).

2.

Your blank brain entry can be as silly or as serious as you like...

Some hints and tips if you are not sure what to put in your “brain spaces” – think about:

- Remember it is unlikely that your brain is thinking or doing only one thing at a time!- What tasks do you do at work / home- Often we are thinking about the next thing we need to do, so include those tasks as

well - Add any worries, things you need to remember, things you are looking forward to

(all those things that tend to be on your mind a lot).- When we are at work (or home) we rarely just think about work usually people

spend time at work thinking about what they are doing that evening or what they are going to have for tea that night or what’s on tv etc) include those thoughts.

- Do you spend time thinking about or worrying about other people, family members, colleagues etc?

- Also include all those lovely thoughts about things you are going to do in the future- There is one example on the previous page, but you can use words or pictures

whichever you prefer- future!

3. Complete the questions about your brain and you (in the box next to the blank brain)
