Katelyn continued to impress during her internship by exemplifying these very qualities. During her internship, I came to rely on Katelyn and was able to entrust her with several important projects, including designing, laying out and creating content for our souvenir program. She took initiative with this project and was able to take it from conception to completion professionally and on a tight deadline, impressively while also balancing the demands of her summer coursework. Katelyn’s work on several other projects, including our torch run, VIP reception and email marketing program proved invaluable to me during our busiest time of year. She is a quick learner who is open‐minded and creative when undertaking new projects. Katelyn proved herself to be reliable, hardworking, professional and patient throughout her internship. Her positive and friendly attitude also made her a great addition to the team. She was well‐liked by all in the office because of her courteous and upbeat demeanor. I believe Katelyn will be an asset to whatever organizations she chooses to work with, academically as well as professionally. I would highly recommend you consider her for this opportunity. To Whom It May Concern,

Katelyn Tripses was the marketing intern for the Show‐Me STATE GAMES during the summer of 2009. As the

Marketing and Media Coordinator for the non‐profit organization, I oversaw Katelyn’s work during her time

here.

Although many qualified candidates applied for the position, Katelyn, despite being the youngest candidate,

impressed me the most with her positive attitude, willingness to take on new projects, and experience with

writing and working with programs such as InDesign. Katelyn continued to impress during her internship by

exemplifying these very qualities.

During her internship, I came to rely on Katelyn and was able to entrust her with several important projects,

including designing, laying out and creating content for our souvenir program. She took initiative with this

project and was able to take it from conception to completion professionally and on a tight deadline,

impressively while also balancing the demands of her summer coursework. Katelyn’s work on several other

projects, including our torch run, VIP reception and email marketing program proved invaluable to me during

our busiest time of year. She is a quick learner who is open‐minded and creative when undertaking new

projects.

Katelyn proved herself to be reliable, hardworking, professional and patient throughout her internship. Her

positive and friendly attitude also made her a great addition to the team. She was well‐liked by all in the office

because of her courteous and upbeat demeanor. I believe Katelyn will be an asset to whatever organizations

she chooses to work with, academically as well as professionally. I would highly recommend you consider her

for this opportunity.

If I can be of any further assistance, or provide you with any additional information, please feel free to contact

me.

Sincerely,

Emily Lorenz
