On November 13, our congregation had i ts annual Faith in Action Sunday.

About 150 divided up into seven groups and went to their assigned projects.

A new thing was to measure and bag nutritious meals fo r the Kids Against

Hunger p ro gr am . I was with a group of seven who served a c ol d lunch to

about 150 homeless/indigent people downtown.

On November 17, I drove up to the Atlanta area with Betty Turner,

retired missionary to Japan, for the National Missionary Convention. We

b ot h h ad f ri en ds we could stay with on the south side of Atlanta not far

from the convention center. Thankfully, my friend Marilyn did all the

driving to and fro. We heard excellent sermons, saw videoed testimonies,

Jeremiah Couch (former MK to Ghana), looked at hundreds of displays, and

visited with Roy Willingham and President Manuel and Charity Adjei from

Ghana Christian University, Enoch Nyador of Ghana Christian Mission andformer missionaries to Ghana David and Barbara Kalb and Bob and Connie

Sheffler, among others.

The Kalbs canno t re turn to Ghana because o David's heal th  u t will

continue as guides, mentors and fundraisers for Yaw when he returns to

Ghana after graduation to work in northern Ghana to be used by God to

strengthen and expand His kingdom there.

The new name of the NM is ICOM, International Conference on Missions.

This year's president was Wing Wong, a Chinese Christian, anda very funnv xman Iheard that the   OM will be in Orlando in 2013.^^ - l^sas

Three times this year I have house -a nd-c at 3)-sa t for a lady whos e

husband is in a nursing home. It is good for her to visit family once in awhile because she visits her h us ba nd six day s a week fo r several hours.

The printing of cards for the Jamaica library has gone farther than lastyear but needs to go a lot faster if I am to make the return trip in 2012.

Sorry if I ve bored you. I a m grateful to God to still have the strengthand eyesight to work, visit, drive, lead a Life Group a nd all the rest. I wouldlove to hear from al l of you.

Blessings in Christ Jesus our Lord,
