We are not to forget that the Cross is with us each and every day of our
lives. The Gospel is telling us: “Whoever wishes to come after me

“I glory in the Cross of Jesus. I find my strength in the Cross.”

The Significance of the Divine Liturgy The Divine Liturgy differs from the other rites of the Holy Sacraments and the other church services in that it is SACRIFICE OF THE New Testament in which Christ offers himself to God, through the instrumentality of the priest, in an unbloody manner under the appearance of bread and wine, for the salvation of the world.. Jesus Christ himself instituted the Divine Liturgy at the Last Supper, when He changed bread in to his most holy body and wine in to his precious blood, and commanded the apostles to do likewise, saying:”Do this in remembrance of me” (Luke 22:19). Hence it is a memorial of Jesus Christ in which He continues his sacrifice of the cross. In the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist are contained the body and blood of Jesus Christ together with his soul and divinity, i.e., the whole Christ, the God-Man. It was his body and blood that Jesus |Christ promise to give mankind as food. He even spoke of himself unequivocally as being the living bread which had come down from heaven , and the bread of life. This promise, to give his body and blood, Jesus fulfilled the day before He died. It was then, when He instituted the Holy Eucharist that the first Divine Liturgy was celebrated. “Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said ‘Take, eat: this is my body.’ And He took a cup saying ‘Drink of it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins’ “ (Matthew 26; 26-28). The words of Christ’s promises were meant to be taken literally, as were the words of Christ spoken at the Last Supper. The Last supper was the first offering of Christ himself in a mystical manner under the appearance of bread and wine.

“MEMO FROM GOD”
I am God. Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please
remember that I do not require your assistance. If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. It will be addressed in My time, not yours. Once the matter has been placed in the box, do not continue to hold onto it or remove it. Holding on or removal will only delay a resolution of your problem. If you believe you can handle the situation, please consult me in prayer first to be sure that it is the proper resolution. Because I do not sleep nor do I slumber, there is no need for you to lose any sleep. Rest my child. If you need to contact me, I am only a prayer away.
