Lauren  B.  Angueira   Lauren  B.  Angueira  is  a  described  "Jane"  of  all  trades  &  creative  humanitarian.  Professionally  educated  in  Communications,  she  holds  a  B.S.  in  Journalism  and  a  B.A.  in  Political  Science  with  a  focus  in  Latin  America  and  Human  Rights.  Her  training  as  a  Journalism/Communications  major  allows  her  versatility  in  all  disciplines  of  the  major  including  marketing,  design,  and  advertising.  As  she  likes  to  joke,  her  work  in  the  non-­‐profit  sector  chose  her.  Taking  her  first  professional  employment  after  the  2010  earthquake  in  Haiti,  Lauren's  contacts  made  during  this  time  have  propelled  and  sustained  her  career.  Bouncing  back  in  forth  between  Miami  and  Boston,  she  settled  in  Miami  in  late  2011  where  she  started  her  own  nonprofit,  Do  It  Like  A  Woman,  Inc.  following  her  mother's  breast  cancer  diagnosis.      Photography:  While  the  majority  of  her  work  is  portrait  photography,  she  is  also  experienced  in  disaster/documentary  photography  and  is  available  for  travel.
