“Independence Day: Resurgence” As a previs artist at Uncharted Territory, I was assigned the London sequence. Based on the script, I animated the cameras, the destruction and flight of the moon tug as it navigated its way through London while the city of Dubai fell back down to Earth.

“Big Hero 6” As a layout artist at Disney Feature Animation, I blocked the cameras and characters of multiple action shots and sequences. This example is the end battle.

“Epic” As a camera & staging artist at Blue Sky Studios, I was assigned multiple action sequences on Epic that involved flying. My portfolio page features the sequences Reunion, Bats, and Race.

“Ice Age: Continental Drift” As a camera & staging artist at Blue Sky Studios, I was assigned the fight sequences: Captives, Kitty, and Swashbuckle. I blocked the cameras and action into the edit, which required a strong understanding of screen direction, as the action circled around the deck of the pirate ship.

“Peanuts” As a camera & staging artist at Blue Sky Studios, I blocked the cameras and action of the baseball sequence with the correct lensing to match the comic book style of Charles Shultz.

“Rio 2” As a camera & staging artist at Blue Sky Studios, I created shots for the sequence Redemption. This involved creating the tension and comedy of Nigel and Blu as they fight and bicker over what will become of the blue macaws’ home in the Amazon rainforest.

“Green Lantern” As a frame layout artist at Sony Imageworks, I was responsible for rough layout through final layout. I was assigned multiple flying and action shots, which required animating cameras and characters in their CG environments, as well as animating with background plates.

“Alice in Wonderland” as a previs artist at the Third Floor Inc., I was on a team that created shots to pitch to the director, Tim Burton, on how the end battle would play out. A few of the ideas helped inspire filming.

“Percy Jackson: The Lightening Thief” As a previs artist at Fox, I animated the characters and cameras for these shots based on the script. I also created the low-res environment modeling of New York City and the lightening effects.
