DENNIS EPISCOPO 2011 Survey Results Here’s a sampling of the results of the Congregational Survey we took recently. There were 1826 responses: 1. We appear to be an “alliance” of people coming from different religious back- grounds. 41% from Roman Catholic backgrounds. 22% from Lutheran, 8% from Baptist, 6% from Methodist, 5% from Assembly of God, 3% Presbyterian, and a mix of other denominations. 2. 55% of our attendees have come to AAC in the last 5 years. 3. Almost 40% of our church is 39 years-old or younger, with the largest age group of people in their 40’s (27%). 4. 98% of you said that the Worship Service helps you connect with God and 98% also said that the sermons are practical and can be applied to your life. 5. 60% of you read your Bible consistently (daily). 6. 49% tithe to God’s work. 7. 81% said that AAC is a “safe place” to honestly and openly share issues about life. 8. 68% actively share their faith with others and 79% seek to help people in our community. Jesus “living in us” makes this place what it is. To Him be the glory!
