Mrs. Savita Punde, Mrs. Punde is a landscape architect and has studied architecture at the Academy of Architecture, Mumbai and landscape design at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. She is the co-‐founder of the design practice, Design Cell based in Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bengaluru, where she is the principal designer for landscape design and site planning projects.
She was awarded a Gold Medal in Landscape Architecture from SPA, New Delhi in 1984. She is also one of the founder trustees of the Society for Environment and Architecture, which this year has started the School of Environment and Architecture, Mumbai. She is the recipient of the Devi Award-‐2015, conferred by the New Indian Express.
She is actively involved in promoting the profession of landscape architecture and has been the past President of the Indian Society of Landscape Architects. She is the current Vice President of GREHA. She also teaches at the Department of Landscape Architecture at the School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, India. She is a member of evaluation panel of GREHA and also on the Advisory Panel of Journal of Landscape Architecture, India.
Chair Deepak Nayyar is Emeritus Professor of Economics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He was Distinguished University Professor at the New School for Social Research, New York and Professor of Economics at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Earlier he has taught at the University of Oxford, the University of Sussex, and the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He has served a term as Vice-‐Chancellor of the University of Delhi.
He started his distinguished career in the Indian Administrative Service. He has worked as Economic Adviser in the Ministry of Commerce, Chief Economic Adviser to the Government of India and Secretary in the Ministry of Finance. He was educated at St. Stephen's College and the Delhi School of Economics and as a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford. Professor Nayyar has published several very important books and numerous scholarly articles.
Sanjay Prakash, B. Arch., A.I.I.A., is an architect with a commitment to energy, conscious architecture, eco-‐friendly design, people’s participation in planning, music and production design. Over the years, he has integrated all his work with the practice of new urbanism and sustainability in his professional and personal life.
He is Principal Consultant of his design firm, SHiFt: Studio for Habitat Futures, and was a partner of DAAT and Studio Plus, firms that predate his current firm. He is a co-‐founder of the Future Institute, a not-‐for-‐profit, multi-‐disciplinary applied-‐research platform seeking to undertake and enable initiatives towards informing how India shapes its urban future.
His name and work is mentioned in the twentieth edition of one of the main reference works in architectural history, A History of Architecture by Sir Bannister Fletcher.
SK Das is a renowned architect, urbanist, professor, and consultant to international multinational agencies and governments, honoured for his versatility and sensitivity to community and context. His work spans a range of scales including townships, urban development, master planning, housing mixed-‐use developments, institutions and residences, and low cost housing for the poor. He has received the National Award for Community Architecture from HUDCO and the National Award for Outstanding Work in Rural Settlements of India from the Indian Institute of Architects, been named Architect of the Year by the Building Industries Bureau, and been awarded the Eisenhower, Chettle, and USIS Exchange Visitor Fellowships. His works have been featured and exhibited internationally.

Jatin Bhatt (Director, Campus Development, Ambedkar University Delhi) is a 1977 graduate of National Institute of Design with a specialization in Industrial Design. With experience in practice and academics, he has been primarily concerned with issues of academic and business processes pertaining to application of design and its larger potential in its nuances and meaning.
After over a decade of practice, he moved to active design academics and set up the Accessory Design Department at NIFT New Delhi, which he chaired from 1991 to 2007.
He has been an advisor and on expert committees for curriculum development and review for Indian Institute of Craft & Design Jaipur, CLRI Chennai, Pearl Academy of Fashion Delhi & Jaipur, IDC IIT Mumbai and Craft Development Institute Srinagar, Kashmir.
He is currently the Director Campus Development and Pro Vice Chancellor of the Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD), which he joined in 2012 as professor and founding Dean of the School of Design at AUD.
