    Objectives:Create a new logo to fit a company or personal image. Des-ing cnosistent layouts for a business card.

    Process:I began by making the logo using Adobe Illustrator. Oncethat was complete I placed the logo in Adobe Indesign. Iedited the flowers transparency to give it a soft design. Forthe business card I began by making two matching rectanglesas an outline.

    Description:Two sided letter style folding brochure.

    Program(s)/Tools: Adobe Indesign Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop

    Objectives:Set up and align a two-sided, folded document. Learn howto wrap text around an image.

    Process:Using Adobe Photoshop I wrapped the image of the floristsand placed them onto the layout. Then one-by-one I placedthe other images and placed rectangles with feather gradientsover each image. Using text boxes I added the body copies.

    Objectives:Learn to manage Photoshop layers. Learn to blend imagestogeth smoothly, using masks.

    Process:I altered both images levels and saturation before combin-ing them. At that point I made a copy of image 2 (the girls

    walking). I blurred the top layer and while using a mask Ibegan blending all three images together. Finally I added thephrase be the light among the darkness and matched thecolor to the girls dress in image 2.

    Description: A flyer that was completed in Microsoft Word with images were scanned from a magazine.

    Objectives:Create a full-bleed design. Use text boxes for layout in Word.Insert and edit images in Word.

    Process: After scanning the images they were inserted into a word doc-ument. The images were arranged as a frame to the informa-tion and the rectangles were used to fill in the blanks. LastlyI added the event information.

    Objectives:Learn basic photography skills. Adjust image brightness,contrast, hue and saturation levels.

    Process:I selected a photo and edited levels, vibrance/sats, selectivecolor, sharpness. Once the photo was how I wanted it tolook I inserted it into a Adobe Photoshop document andbegan to add rectangles. I adjusted the colors based on mycolor scheme (which was decided based on my nephewst-shirt in the photo). Lastly I inserted the text.

    Objectives: Apply the design principles and use appropriate typography.

    Process:I began by creating the focal point, which in this case is thetitle. From then I added elements starting from largest tosmallest, aligning them to the outside as they were addedand leaving plenty of white space. Lastly I added repetitionthrough the dotted lines.

    Process:The greatest asset I used to create my logos were the shapestools. Through the combination of different shapes I wasable to make the house and for sale sign. Once the founda-tion was made I added the text (company name).
