Queridos Socios:

La Junta Direc�va que tengo el honor de presidir, acordó en abril aceptar la solicitud tanto

de la Federación Española como de la Federación Andaluza de Golf, para acoger el Open

de España femenino de 2017.

Una vez aceptado el reto, hemos intentado preparar nuestro Club para una ocasión tan

importante.

Organizar un Open no es una tarea fácil, y requiere de nuestro Club algunos compromisos,

que trataré de explicar, en este bole�n y que son los más significa�vos, ya que afectarán a

nuestra vida normal del Club.

Este evento que será visto en todo el mundo, con más de 280 millones de potenciales

espectadores de televisión, y con una gran repercusión mediá�ca, nuestro Club será

conocido de Nueva Zelanda, Oriente Medio, Europa y Estados Unidos de costa a costa.

Sabemos que el Real Club de Golf de Guadalmina, �ene limitaciones, SOLO somos un Club

de Socios normal, pero tenemos uno de los mejores campos de la Costa, y esa ha sido la

razón por la que hemos sido elegidos.

Tenemos instalaciones limitadas de estacionamiento, pero nos hemos arreglado,

tenemos limitación en el área de restauración, pero con algunas soluciones imagina�vas

que hemos afrontado también ese reto.

Ofrecemos uno de nuestros campos, el SUR para este evento, pero los Socios tendrán la

oportunidad de decidir, si jugar el golf en el Campo Norte o en Club de Golf Villa Padierna

sin coste para nuestros socios, o seguir a estas grandes jugadoras,

Tengo el placer de presentar este pequeño folleto, con las pautas de funcionamiento,

durante el trascurso del Open de España femenino en el Real Club de Golf Guadalmina.

Queremos ofrecer nuestra mejor cara, y espero que todos acojamos con amabilidad a los

visitantes y tratemos de ayudar a quienes no estén familiarizados con nuestro Club,

siguiendo siempre las indicaciones del organizador y disfrutando de la gran oportunidad,

y probablemente única, de organizar un Ladies European Tour en su propio campo y os

animamos a seguir el juego especialmente a nuestras Pros Azahara Muñoz , Noemí

Jiménez, Laura Cabanillas y Patricia Márquez.

2. VOLUNTARIOS

La Organización ha solicitado a los socios, que deseen ser voluntarios para varios puestos, que

pueden contactar con la Coordinadora del Torneo Alicia Garrido a través de su dirección de correo

Las funciones de los "voluntarios" se explicarán durante una reunión que tendrá lugar de la siguiente

manera

- Martes 19 a las 15: 30h: Encuentro con marcadores

- Jueves 21 de la mañana: Reunión con TV ASSISTANCES

- Los Caddies no tendrán una reunión, pero recibirán INDICACIONES DEL LADIES EUROPEAN

TOUR y cómo contactar a sus jugadoras asignadas.

3. APARCAMIENTOLas instalaciones de aparcamiento existentes estarán restringidas desde el 16 de sep�embre hasta el día 25 para la organización, SOLO podrán estacionar en el Parking del Club, LOS VEHÍCULOS DE CORTESÍA VOLVO, Vehículos oficiales de la organización, Medios de Comunicación y Vehículos de Televisión Hemos organizado una ZONA de APARCAMIENTO junto al HOTEL BARCELO, SOLO a 800 metros del Club, desde allí a los Socios y Visitantes, se les ofrecerá un servicio de transporte de cortesía, con un pequeño tren desde las 08:00 hasta las 20:00 cada 5 minutos .

4. CAMPO DE PRÁCTICASDurante la compe�ción desde el 18 de sep�embre hasta el 24 de sep�embre, sólo los jugadores PROFESIONALES podrán u�lizar el campo de prác�cas, debido a las bolas de prác�ca que u�lizan son especiales (vuelan más que nuestras bolas de prác�cas) cerraremos el CAMPO DE PITCH & PUTT por razones de seguridad .Los Socios que lo deseen pueden usar los hoyos 2º a 6º del campo de Pitch & Pu�, u�lizando como primer hoyo el número dos, ya que las jugadoras accederán al primer tee desde el campo de prác�cas a través de la parcela adyacente al campo de conducción de la siguiente manera. --------

5. SERVICIO DE RESTAURACIÓN

Las jugadoras profesionales, sus Caddies y el personal de la Organización, serán servidos en una carpa adyacente

al merendero, los socios y visitantes serán servidos en la cafetería Club, Patrocinadores e invitados VIP serán

servidos en la terraza superior y restaurante.

6. USO DE BUGGIES PRIVADOS EN EL CAMPO

Durante EL TORNEO desde el 18 al 24 los buggys privados NO ESTÁN PERMITIDOS, ni para seguir a los jugadores

o para conducir, a través del CAMPO SUR desde su casa hasta al club o viceversa, sólo los buggies de la

ORGANIZACIÓN estarán AUTORIZADOS a circular por el campo.

Los Buggies privados podrán ser u�lizados ÚNICAMENTE en el Campo Norte, para acceder desde

Guadalmina Baja al Club deberán acceder a través de la puerta que se encuentra junto al green del hoyo 14

del Campo Norte

7. OFERTA ESPECIAL PARA JUGAR EN VILLAPADIERNA GOLF CLUB

Durante la compe�ción, desde el 16 de sep�embre hasta el 24 de sep�embre, nuestro

campo Norte estará disponible para los socios y los invitados, pero los SOCIOS del Real Club

de Golf Guadalmina �enen la posibilidad de jugar en el Villapadierna Golf Club en

cualquiera de sus tres campos (Flamingo Alferini y Tramores ) SIN COSTE ALGUNO,

solamente el alquiler de Buggy.

Las reservas se harán a través de nuestro Caddy Master siete días antes.

8. PRO-AM PARA LOS VOLUNTARIOS

Real Club de Golf Guadalmina como anfitrión �ene 24 plazas de amateur en el PROAM,

estas plazas se rifarán entre todos los voluntarios.

9. ACCESO DE PÚBLICO SERVICIO DE URGENCIA Y NORMAS DE COMPORTAMIENTO

La entrada al torneo será gratuita, solamente queremos darles unas indicaciones de cómo

comportarse durante el torneo.

· Niños pequeños siempre deben estar acompañados por un adulto.

· Mantengan los mientras estén siguiendo el juegomóviles EN MODO VIBRACIÓN

· Siempre siga las instrucciones de los Marshall y miembros de la organización y

manténgase fuera de las cuerdas que delimitan el terreno de juego del campo de golf.

· Al acceder al Club, busque el mapa de situación que le será entregado en la oficina de

información, que le ayudarán a encontrar accesos al campo, vías de evacuación,

instalaciones estratégicas y proporcionan otra información importante. En caso de

duda pregunte a un voluntario o a un marshall.

· Dos unidades médicas, dotadas de puntos de Primeros Auxilios están disponibles, su

ubicación aparecerá en el plano indica�vo este servicio está disponible desde antes

del primer par�do hasta 30 minutos después del úl�mo.

· Los baños (W.C.) estarán disponibles a lo largo del recorrido y marcados en el mapa de

recorrido.

Dear Members:

The Board of Director that I have the honor to Chair, agreed back in April to accept the

request from both the Spanish and the Andalusian Golf Federa�on, to host the 2017

Spanish Ladies PGA Open.

We accepted the challenge and we have tried our best since,to prepare our Club for such

important occasion.

Organizing an Open is not an easy task, and requires from our Club some commitments,

which I will try to explain , in principle which are the most significant, as they will affect

our normal Club life.

This will be an event to be watched worldwide, with more than 280 million poten�al TV

spectators, and with a great media repercussion, our Club will be known from New

Zealand, far and middle East, Europe and United States of America form east to west

Coast.

We know that Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, has limita�ons, we are ONLY a Members

Club , but we have one of the best courses in the Coast, and that has been the reason why

we have been chosen.

We have limited parking facili�es, but we have sorted that out, we have limited catering

facili�es, but with some imagina�ve solu�ons we have coped with that too.

We will offer one of our courses, the SOUTH for this event, but members will have the

opportunity to decide if the rather to play golf on the North or at Villapadierna Golf Club,

or to follow these great players

It is my pleasure to present this small booklet, with the guidelines while you are staying at

Real Club de Golf Guadalmina during the Ladies Spanish Open.

Let's present our best side, welcome all visitors and try to help those who are not familiar

with our Club, follow the organizer´s indica�ons and enjoy the great, and probably unique

opportunity, of hos�ng a Ladies European Tour at your Course, and I would like to

encourage you to enjoy the game of all these player and specially support our Pros

Azahara Muñoz, Noemi Jiménez Laura Cabanillas and Patricia Márquez.

3. PARKINGth thThe exis�ng car parking facili�es will be restricted from September 16 un�l the 25 for the organiza�on,

ONLY VOLVO COURTESY CARS, Organiza�on Official vehicles, Media & TV Vehicles will be allowed to park at the parking next to the Club House

For Members and Visitors we have arranged a PARKING PLOT adjacent to the HOTEL BARCELO, ONLY 800

meters away from the Club, a courtesy shu�le with a small train is offered, as from 08:00 a.m. un�l 20:00

4. DRIVING RANGEth th

During the compe��on as from September 18 un�l September 24 , only LADIES PGA players will be allowed to use the Driving range, due to the special driving range balls ( they fly further than our range balls ) we will close the par three course for safety reasons.

nd thMembers may use holes 2 to 6 of the par three course, teeing off from hole number

two, as PGA players will be accessing the first tee from the driving range through the plot

adjacent to the driving range as follows.

5. CATERING SERVICESProfessional, their Caddies and Organiza�on´s staff, will be served at a marquise adjacent to the Conservatory, Members and visitors will be served at the Club cafeteria, Sponsors and VIP will be served at the upper terrace and restaurant.

6. PRIVATE BUGGIES ON THE COURSE

During the compe��on using private golf cars ARE NOT PERMITTED, neither to follow players or to drive from your home to the house club or vice versa, through the SOUTH COURSE, only buggies from the ORGANIZATION will be ALLOWED on the course.

Private Buggies can be used ONLY in the North Course, to access from Guadalmina

Baja gate next to the green of the 14th hole of to the Club you must use through the

7. SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT TO PLAY GOLF AT VILLAPADIERNA GOLF CLUBth th During the compe��on, commencing September 16 un�l September 24 , our North

course will be available for Members and guests , but Members from Real Club de Golf

Guadalmina have the possibility to play at Villapadierna Golf Club in any of their three

courses ( Flamingo Alferini & Tramores ) at NO COST , only the Buggy rental.

Reserva�ons will be made through our Caddy Master seven days in advance.

8. PRO-AM FOR VOLUNTEERS

Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, as host Course, has been offered 24 places for amateurs

to play at the PROAM , a draw among all volunteers will be made to choose these

players.

9. ACCESS TO THE EVENT , USEFULL INFORMATION, EXPECTED BEHAVIOR DURING THE

TOURNAMENT

Entry to the tournament will be free, we just want to give you some indication of how to

behave during the tournament.

· Young children should always be accompanied by an adult.

· Keep phones in VIBRATION MODE while you are following the game.

· Always follow the instruc�ons of Marshall and members of the organiza�on and

stay outside the ropes that bound the golf course.

· When accessing the Club, look for the situa�on map that will be delivered to you at

the informa�on office, which will help you find access to the course, escape routes,

strategic facili�es and other important informa�on. If in doubt, ask a volunteer or

marshal.

· Two medical units, equipped with First Aid points are available, their loca�on will

appear in the indica�ve plane. This service is available from before the first match

up to 30 minutes a�er the last one.

· The bathrooms (W.C.) will be available along the course and marked on the route

map.
