Izvod relevantnog odlomka iz uputa dijeljenih na poetku kolske godine.

Kolokviji

Osnovne osobine. Umjesto ispita kandidati mogu kolegij poloiti putem tri kolokvija. Za ovaj nain polaganja potrebno je zadovoljiti preduvjet odnosno uspjeno napisali propisani broj vjebi odnosno zadataka. Vjebe su 'open book' rjeavanje zadataka ili pitanja sa kraja poglavlje. Odvijati e se prema rasporedu kolokvija (raspored prvog kolokvija dan je dolje). U sluaju prvog kolokvija, koji se sastoji od gradiva poglavlja 1-6 i ukljuuje 5 vjebi treba uspjeno napisati 3. Nadoknada vjebi nee biti. Za drugi i trei kolokvij e se kasnije odrediti broj potrebnih vjebi.

Gradivo kolokvija i rokovi. U svakom kolokviju provjerava se gradivo jednog nastavnog sklopa. Za prva dva kolokvija postoje dva roka (i kandidati mogu izai na obadva) a za trei tri (i kandidati mogu izai na sva tri). Ukoliko kandidat ne poloi jedan kolokvij mora poloiti cijeli ispit. Prvi kolokviji je drugaije strukturiran od druga dva. Kolokvij je postavljen tako da je za prolaznu ocjenu potrebno 9 dana normalnog uenja.

Vrijeme odravanja kolokvija: prvi kolokvij: prvi rok prije Boia a drugi prvi radni dan nakon nove godina, drugi kolokvij: prvi rok poetkom travnja a drugi sredinom travnja, trei kolokvij: poklapa se sa tri ispitna roka ljetnog ispitnog roka (dakle nema predroka)

Struktura kolokvija U kolokviju nema testa i nema definicija nego se sastoji od pismenog dijela i 'take home' eseja. U pismenom dijelu ponueno je etiri grupa za kratke odgovore (sa dva pitanja u svakoj, kandidatu se boduje samo jedan odgovor iz svake grupe sa najvie 10 bodova) i dvije grupe za dulje odgovore (tri pitanja u svakoj, kandidatu se boduje samo jedan odgovor iz svake grupe sa najvie 20 bodova). Pola pitanja (dvije grupe kratkih i jednu grupu dugih) priprema Ivo Biani a drugu polovicu Oriana Vukoja. Raspon ocjena: 45-54 bodova: dovoljan, 55-64 bodova: dobar, 65-73 bodova: vrlo dobar, 74-80 bodova: odlian. U "take home" esej ponuene su dvije grupe a u svakoj grupi su tri pitanja, jednu grupu sastavlja Ivo Biani a drugu Oriana Vukoja. Za ocjenu se boduje samo jedan odgovor iz svake grupe. RELEVANTNI DIO UPUTA PODIJELJENIH POETKOM NASTAVE

Osnovne osobine. Ispit iz Makroekonomike se sastoji od etiri dijela i za pozitivnu ocjenu potrebno je odjedanput (u jednom roku) uspjeno poloiti sva etiri dijela (dakle ne moe se u komadima). Tri su dijela ispita pismena i polau se isti dan a etvrti je usmeni koji se prema potrebi polae na dan objavljivanja rezultata pismenog ispita . Kriteriji su postavljeni tako da se sa lakoom moe proi nakon etiri tjedna normalnog uenja. Predroka nema.

Struktura ispita

Prvi dio ispita: test. Test se sastoji od 120 pitanja podijeljenih u pet vrsta (zaokruivanje tonog odgovora izmeu pet ponuenih, zaokruivanjem odreivanje tonosti tvrdnje, upisivanje odgovarajuih slova iz slike, povezivanje pojma sa definicijom te zadatka gdje se zaokruuje jedno od ponuenih rjeenja. Odgovori se upisuju u posebni list (zbog lakoe ispravljanja). Vrijeme rjeavanja je 60 minuta, 30 sekundi za svako pitanje.

Drugi dio ispita: pismeni ispit. U ovom dijelu ispita kandidat odgovara na tri vrste pitanja. Na prvu vrstu se daju krai odgovori (do pola strane) a na drugu dui (do jedne strane) a trea se vrsta sastoji od pisanja definicija (ne vie od pet redaka po definiciji).

- U prvoj grupi su kandidatu ponuene osam podgrupa pitanja a u svakoj podgrupi su dva pitanja. Kandidat iz svake podgrupe bira pitanje na koje odgovara dakle sve zajedno odgovara na osam pitanja. Svaki odgovor u ovoj grupi vrijedi najvie 10 bodova te je najvei broj bodova za ova pitanja 80. Pitanja etiri podgrupe sastavlja Ivo Biani a pitanja iz preostale etiri podgrupe Oriana Vukoja.

- U drugoj grupi kandidatu su ponuene etiri podgrupe pitanja a u svakoj podgrupi su dva pitanja. Kandidat iz svake podgrupe bira jedno pitanja na koje odgovara dakle sve zajedno odgovara na osam pitanja (dvije iz svake podgrupe). Svaki odgovor u ovoj grupi vrijedi najvie 20 bodova te je najvei broj bodova za ova pitanja 80. Pitanja iz dvije podgrupe sastavlja Ivo Biani a pitanja iz preostale dvije podgrupe Oriana Vukoja.- U treoj grupi su pitanja numerikog tipa. Kandidat izabire jedan problem od dva ponuena. Maksimalan broj bodova za numeriki problem je 20.- U etvrtoj grupi su kandidatu ponuene etiri kolone od po tri pojma. Kandidat iz svake kolone bira jedan pojam i daje njegovu definiciju. Svaka definicije vrijedi najvie 5 bodova te je najvei broj bodova za definicije 20.

Vrijeme pisanja je 180 minuta (10 minuta za svaki kratki odgovor, 15 minuta za dugi, 20 za numeriki problem i 5 minuta za svaku definiciju (8x10+4x15+4x5=160).

Trei dio ispita: "Take home" esej: Kandidatu su ponuene etiri grupe pitanja, u svakoj grupi su ponuena dva pitanja i kandidat bira jedno na koje odgovara. Pitanja se nose kui i slijedei dan se predaju odgovori. Svako pitanje vrijedi najvie 20 bodova, te je najvei mogui broj bodova u ovoj grupi 80.

etvrti dio ispita: usmeni ispitU pravilu nee biti usmenog ispita. Iznimno e ispitivai pozvati kandidata ako postoje velike razlike ocjene pojedinih dijelova ispita ili kandidat moe traiti usmeni ispit ako smatra da je krivo ocijenjen.

Ocjenjivanje

Svaki pismeni rad posebno ocjenjuju Ivo Biani i Oriana Vukoja te kasnije usklauju ocjene.

Prvi dio: test

Svaki toni odgovor vrijedi 1 bod, svaki krivi 0.25 negativnih a nezaokrueni odgovori vrijede nula bodova. Raspon ocjena: dovoljan (2):70-85 bodova, dobar (3):86-99 bodova, vrlo dobar (4):100-111 bodova i odlian (5):112-120 bodova. Drugi dio: pismeni ispit

Za prolazni ocjenu potrebno je pozitivno odgovoriti na po jedno pitanje iz svake grupe odnosno podgrupe (izostavljanje odgovora na bilo koju podgrupu automatski podrazumijeva nedovoljan). Vie polovinih odgovora iz jedne grupe se ne priznaju, iz svake podgrupe boduje se samo jedan odgovor. Najvei broj bodova je 258 (80 iz kratkih odgovora, 80 uz dugih i 20 za definicije). Raspon ocjena: dovoljan (2):110-139 bodova, dobar (3):140-159 bodova, vrlo dobar (4):160-179 bodova i odlian (5):180-200 bodova.

Trei dio:"take home" esej

Za prolazni ocjenu potrebno je pozitivno odgovoriti na po jedno pitanje iz svake grupe. Vie polovinih odgovora se ne priznaju, iz svake grupe boduje se samo jedan odgovor. Najvei broj bodova je 80. Raspon ocjena: dovoljan (2):45-54 bodova, dobar (3):55-64 bodova, vrlo dobar (4):65-71 bodova, odlian (5):72-80 bodova.

Sveukupna ocjena iz prva tri pismena dijela ispita zaokruuje se kao vagana sredina tri ocjene u kojoj ocjena testa ima ponder 0.2, ocjena kratkog eseja 0.5a ocjena dugog eseja 0.3

Exam: passing at regular examination periods

The Macroeconomics exam has four parts. Three must parts must be taken in the same day (i.e. they cannot be taken in sections). All the three parts are written. The fourth part is oral and takes place after the results of the written part have been announced. The exam questions are set so that they can be passed with fouth weeks of preparation and regular attendance and work during the semester.

Exam structure

First part: Test. The test has 120 questions divided into five kinds of questions (multiple choice, yes/no, graph analysis and numerical problems). The answers are written into a separate sheet which is handed in on completion. The time is 60 minutes (30 seconds per question).

Second part: closed book essay: In this part of the exam the student answers three types of questions: 'short' answers, 'long' answers and definitions. The time allowed for this part of the exam is 160 minutes (15 minutes for each long question, 10 minutes for each short one and 5 for each definition.

- The first type requires short answers of up to half a page. There are eight grups of questions with two questions in each group. The student chooses one question from each group (in case two are oferred the examiner grades only one), each answer is worth up to 10 points sop a maximum of 80 points can be awarded in this groups. - The second type requiers longer answers of up to one page. There are four grups of questions with two questions in each group. - The third type are definitions requiring a maximum 5 lines. Four groups of three terms are given and the student chooses to provide the definition of one term from each group. Third part: of the exam is a take home essay: The student is oferred four groups of questions with two questions in each group. He takes the questions home and hands in the answers next day. Each answerr is worth a maximum of 20 points so the highest score in this part of the exam is 80 points..

Fourth part of the exam: oral exam: As a rule there will be no oral exam but is the grades in the three written sections vary a lot then the examiner resderves the right to call the student for an oral exam. If the student cosniders he has been badly marked he can demand an oral exam.

Grading

Each part of the written exam is independently graded by Ivo Biani and Orijana Vukoja and the grades are later discussed.

Test grading

Each correct answer is worth 1 pojnt and each incorrect, except the first four, is worth -0.25 pojnts, blank answers are worht 0 points. Grades: 2: 70-85 points, 3: 86-99 points, 4: 100-111 points and 5: 112-120 points.

Second part: closed book essay

To pass the student must get at least half the points in every group of answers, i.e. must provide at least a positive answer in every group. Two half answers in a group do not count since points are given only for individual answers. If two answeres are oferred in one group the examiner grades only one. Exam: basic information

To qualitfy for the exam students will have to have attendance signatures. These will be given by Ms. O. Vukoja. To get a signiture the student has to satisfy at 10 out of 15 excerises. These are chapter excersies written as open book excerses according to the teaching schedule below. Those who do satisfy at the required number of excersises will sit a qualifying exam one day before the written exam where they will solve the excersies for the whole course..

Students will be able to pass the exam in two ways. The first is by passing the regular exam during the dates set in the examination period (which starts February 1st), the second is by interim exams, will take place at dates listed in the program, and seminar participation.

Students who consider themselves incorrectly marked can

a) request the examiners to re-mark their work.

b) according to the Article 46 of the Statute of the Faculty of Economics within 24 hours of the exam results students can request in written form that the Dean appoints a three member committee in front of which they can retake the exam, the exam in front of this committee must take place within 24 hours of the student request.

Since a new textbook is being used the examo questions from previus years (which can be distributed on demand) will be of very limited use and cannot be used as a gudeline for this years questions.

Each part of the written exam is independently graded by Ivo Biani and Orijana Vukoja and the grades are later discussed.

Test grading

Each correct answer is worth 1 pojnt and each incorrect, except the first four, is worth -0.25 pojnts, blank answers are worht 0 points. Grades: 2: 70-85 points, 3: 86-99 points, 4: 100-111 points and 5: 112-120 points.

Second part: closed book essay

To pass the student must get at least half the points in every group of answers, i.e. must provide at least a positive answer in every group. Two half answers in a group do not count since points are given only for individual answers. If two answeres are oferred in one group the examiner grades only one. A maximum in this part is 180 points (eight short answers 10 points each and maximum of 80 points, four long answrs 20 points each a maximum of 80 points and four definitions 5 points each and a maximum of 20 points). Grading: 2: 100-129 points, 3: 130-149 points, 4: 150-164 points and 5: 165-180 points,

Take home essay

To pass the student must get at least half the points in every group of answers, i.e. must provide at least a positive answer in every group. Final grade

The aggregate grade is derived as a weighted average of the three written parts with the weight given as follows: test: 0.2, closed book essay: 0.6 and take home essays 0.4. In case of an oral exam the final grade is determined after the oral exam.

First part: Test. The test has 120 questions divided into five kinds of questions (multiple choice, yes/no, graph analysis and numerical problems). The answers are written into a separate sheet which is handed in on completion. The time is 60 minutes (30 seconds per question).

Second part: closed book essay: In this part of the exam the student answers three types of questions: 'short' answers, 'long' answers and definitions. The time allowed for this part of the exam is 160 minutes (15 minutes for each long question, 10 minutes for each short one and 5 for each definition.

- The first type requires short answers of up to half a page. There are eight grups of questions with two questions in each group. The student chooses one question from each group (in case two are oferred the examiner grades only one), each answer is worth up to 10 points sop a maximum of 80 points can be awarded in this groups. - The third type are definitions requiring a maximum 5 lines. Four groups of three terms are given and the student chooses to provide the definition of one term from each group. Each definition is worth at most 5 points so a maximunm of 20 points can be given for this type of questions. Two sets of definitions are are set by Ivo Biani and two by Orijana Vukoja.

Third part: of the exam is a take home essay: The student is oferred four groups of questions with two questions in each group. He takes the questions home and hands in the answers next day. Each answerr is worth a maximum of 20 points so the highest score in this part of the exam is 80 points..

Fourth part of the exam: oral exam: As a rule there will be no oral exam but is the grades in the three written sections vary a lot then the examiner resderves the right to call the student for an oral exam. If the student cosniders he has been badly marked he can demand an oral exam.

STUDENTI KOLSKE GODINE 2005/2006ISPIT ODRAN 27/6/2006Polaganje ispita: Izvod iz uputa dijeljenih poetkom godine

Primjedbe na ocjenjivanje. Studenti koji nisu zadovoljni ocjenom imaju dvije mogunosti koje nisu meusobno iskljuive. Prva je da trae obrazloenje nastavnika i uvid u pismeni ispit te ukoliko nije odran usmeni ispit. Drugi je da mogu, prema lanku 46 Statuta fakulteta, traiti ponovno polaganje pred povjerenstvom koje imenuje Dekan. Molbu ponovnog polaganja moraju dati u roku od 24 sati nakon saopenja ocjene a Dekan je duan u roku od 24 sata nakon primljenog zahtjeva zakazati ponavljanje ispita pred povjerenstvom.

Ispit

Osnovne osobine. Ispit iz Makroekonomike se sastoji od etiri dijela i za pozitivnu ocjenu potrebno je odjedanput (u jednom roku) uspjeno poloiti sva etiri dijela (dakle ne moe se u komadima). Tri su dijela ispita pismena i polau se isti dan a etvrti je usmeni koji se prema potrebi polae na dan objavljivanja rezultata pismenog ispita . Kriteriji su postavljeni tako da se sa lakoom moe proi nakon etiri tjedna normalnog uenja. Predroka nema.

Struktura ispita

Prvi dio ispita: test. Test se sastoji od 90 pitanja podijeljenih u pet vrsta (zaokruivanje tonog odgovora izmeu pet ponuenih, zaokruivanjem odreivanje tonosti tvrdnje, upisivanje odgovarajuih slova iz slike, povezivanje pojma sa definicijom te zadatka gdje se zaokruuje jedno od ponuenih rjeenja. Odgovori se upisuju u posebni list (zbog lakoe ispravljanja). Vrijeme rjeavanja je 45 minuta, 30 sekundi za svako pitanje.

Drugi dio ispita: pismeni ispit. U ovom dijelu ispita kandidat odgovara na tri vrste pitanja. Na prvu vrstu se daju krai odgovori (do pola strane) a na drugu dui (do jedne strane) a trea se vrsta sastoji od pisanja definicija (ne vie od pet redaka po definiciji).

- U prvoj grupi su kandidatu ponuene osam podgrupa pitanja a u svakoj podgrupi su dva pitanja. Kandidat iz svake podgrupe bira pitanje na koje odgovara dakle sve zajedno odgovara na osam pitanja. Svaki odgovor u ovoj grupi vrijedi najvie 10 bodova te je najvei broj bodova za ova pitanja 80. Pitanja etiri podgrupe sastavlja Ivo Biani a pitanja iz preostale etiri podgrupe Oriana Vukoja.

- U drugoj grupi kandidatu su ponuene etiri podgrupe pitanja a u svakoj podgrupi su tri pitanja. Kandidat iz svake podgrupe bira jedno pitanja na koje odgovara dakle sve zajedno odgovara na osam pitanja (dvije iz svake podgrupe). Svaki odgovor u ovoj grupi vrijedi najvie 20 bodova te je najvei broj bodova za ova pitanja 80. Pitanja iz dvije podgrupe sastavlja Ivo Biani a pitanja iz preostale dvije podgrupe Oriana Vukoja.

- U treoj grupi su kandidatu ponuene etiri kolone od po tri pojma. Kandidat iz svake kolone bira jedan pojam i daje njegovu definiciju. Svaka definicije vrijedi najvie 5 bodova te je najvei broj bodova za definicije 20.

Vrijeme pisanja je 160 minuta (10 minuta za svaki kratki odgovor, 15 minuta za dugi i 5 minuta za svaku definiciju (8x10+4x15+4x5=160).

Ocjenjivanje

Svaki pismeni rad posebno ocjenjuju Ivo Biani i Oriana Vukoja te kasnije usklauju ocjene.

Prvi dio: test

Svaki toni odgovor vrijedi 1 bod, svaki krivi 0.25 negativnih a nezaokrueni odgovori vrijede nula bodova. Ocjene na testu: dovoljan (2): 50-59 bodova, dobar (3): 60-74 bodova, vrlo dobar (4):75 -83 bodova i odlian (5): 84-90 bodova.

Drugi dio: pismeni ispit

Za prolazni ocjenu potrebno je pozitivno odgovoriti na po jedno pitanje iz svake grupe odnosno podgrupe (izostavljanje odgovora na bilo koju podgrupu automatski podrazumijeva nedovoljan). Vie polovinih odgovora iz jedne grupe se ne priznaju, iz svake podgrupe boduje se samo jedan odgovor. Najvei broj bodova je 180 (80 iz kratkih odgovora, 80 uz dugih i 20 za definicije). la Bolognese Exam, passing by section exams and seminar participation

Instead of taking the classical exam the course final grade can be determined by continuous assessment and grades acquired by working during the whole semester. This involves passing the four section exams and seminar participation. The further difference of this mode from the classical regime is that there is no test, no definition, no numerical problem and there is a limited possibility of increasing the grade and each exam covers less material. The disadvantage is that in aggregate the student answers more questions and that class participation (or its substitute) is required.

To qualify for the section exam students will have to have the course signature. These will be given by Ms. O. Vukoja. To get a course signature the student has to satisfy 9 out of 13 open book exercises (3 per each section exam). These open book exercises are linked to textbook chapters and their dates are listed in the teaching schedule given below. Their purpose is to incite continuous work by students and enable a qualified audience during teaching and pertinent questions and discussions.

If due to illness or other reasons the student is unable to take one of the section exams he will have an opportunity of taking it at a specified date in February.

Section exam structure

Third part: in class participation.

Seminar and in class participation will account to 10 points max per section exam. These will be given on the basis of open book exercises, the seminar paper, poster, presentation and general seminar activity.

Grading section exam

The section exams are not individually graded. Instead for each section exam the aggregate number of points is determined by unweighted adding of points from the three parts. The maximum per section exam is 100 points awarded in the following way. The maximum for first part is 60 points (2 short answers 10 points each = maximum of 20 points, 2 long answers 20 points each = maximum of 40 points). The maximum for the take home essay is 30 points (each question worth 15 points). The maximum for class participation is 10 points. This total is then used for determining the final grade.

Final course grade from section exams.

All four section exams will be taken into consideration. The final grade is derived by simple addition of the points from the four section exams. There is a maximum of 100 points per section exam and a grand total of 400 points. The grades are as follows (the EU grades in brackets).

Very good/Vrlo dobar (4) 370-326 points (B+ 370-356, B 355-341, B- 340-326),

Upgrading

The students who take this exam regime have a limited option to improve their initial grade by extra work. Instead of taking the classical exam the course final grade can be determined by continuous assessment and grades acquired by working during the whole semester. This involves passing the four section exams and seminar participation. The further difference of this mode from the classical regime is that there is no test, no definition, no numerical problem and there is a limited possibility of increasing the grade and each exam covers less material. The disadvantage is that in aggregate the student answers more questions and that class participation (or its substitute) is required.

To qualify for the section exam students will have to have the course signature. These will be given by Ms. O. Vukoja. To get a course signature the student has to satisfy 9 out of 13 open book exercises (3 per each section exam). These open book exercises are linked to textbook chapters and their dates are listed in the teaching schedule given below. Their purpose is to incite continuous work by students and enable a qualified audience during teaching and pertinent questions and discussions.

If due to illness or other reasons the student is unable to take one of the section exams he will have an opportunity of taking it at a specified date in February.

Second part: take home essay

The student is offered two groups of questions with two questions; one group is set by Oriana Vukoja and the other by Ivo Biani. Questions are taken home and the answers are handed in the next day. Each answer is worth a maximum of 15 points so for the take home essay there is a maximum of 30 points.

Third part: in class participation.

Seminar and in class participation will account to 10 points max per section exam. These will be given on the basis of open book exercises, the seminar paper, poster, presentation and general seminar activity.

Grading section exam

The section exams are not individually graded. Instead for each section exam the aggregate number of points is determined by unweighted adding of points from the three parts. The maximum per section exam is 100 points awarded in the following way. The maximum for first part is 60 points (2 short answers 10 points each = maximum of 20 points, 2 long answers 20 points each = maximum of 40 points). The maximum for the take home essay is 30 points (each question worth 15 points). The maximum for class participation is 10 points. This total is then used for determining the final grade.

Final course grade from section exams.

All four section exams will be taken into consideration. The final grade is derived by simple addition of the points from the four section exams. There is a maximum of 100 points per section exam and a grand total of 400 points. The grades are as follows (the EU grades in brackets).

Excellent/Odlian (5): 400-371 points (A 400-386, A- 385-371),

Very good/Vrlo dobar (4) 370-326 points (B+ 370-356, B 355-341, B- 340-326),
