“Building For Our Future”
We are accepting aluminum cans as a fundraiser for the
new church. Keep us in mind when you have your First
Communion or summer parties. Drop off your cans on the trailer in
the parking lot.
The “Building For Our Future” Campaign would like to reach out
to former parishioners who might have an interest in giving to the
new church. If you have a friend or relative who you think might be
interested in making a donation, please let the parish office know.
We will be glad to get information out to them.
Embroidered “St. Mary Church” hats in the parish office for $5.
April 8, $100 Irish Sweepstakes Raffle Winner
is Jeremy Terwiske.
It is that time of year we start to collect your donations for
picnic quilts. Please send in your Picnic Quilt donations,
either to your group leader or to the parish office. Not on a
group? Would you consider making a donation of $35 and
being added to a group? You do not have to quilt or buy ma-
terials for a quilt, just make a donation and your name will be
added to a group quilt. Can’t give $35? Any amount will be
appreciated. Call the parish office for details.

New Members Welcome - Registering in a parish is a declaration of
your desire to be part of a Catholic community and a commitment to
the life of a parish family. Being a registered parishioner makes
things easier when it is time for Baptism, religious education regis-
tration, a wedding, when asked to be a baptismal or confirmation
sponsor, rental of parish buildings, buying a burial plot and even
funerals.
We are often asked by other parishes to provide affidavits for baptis-
mal and confirmation sponsors. We can only do this if a person is a
registered, active, and contributing member in our parish. How do
you know if you are already registered? A registered parishioner
receives all parish mailings and monthly tithing envelopes.
Registration forms are available by calling or stopping by the church
office.
Divine Providence Eucharistic Adoration Chapel has open
hours for adoration. If you are interested in filling any of
these hours, please contact the number or send an email: 812
-630-8382 or [email protected].
Every other Saturday 2:00am - 3:00am
The Adoration Chapel is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is
located in the Parish Center on the campus of Precious Blood Parish.
Please spend an hour with Jesus.

Corporal Work of Mercy - Feed the Hungry
A wonderful group of volunteers from St. Mary Parish have been offering their time, talent and treasure helping to feed the hungry at the Commu-nity Meal in Jasper. We currently provide lunch the First Saturday in May, August, November and February. On May 5, we will again offer food, service and smiles to those struggling at this time. St. Mary can always use additional parishioners that may be interested in cooking or serving - great way to get in service hours. If you have an interest in providing your time and service to this ministry, please contact Stan Epple at 812-634-1130 or call the parish office and let us know. Money from our 2nd Collection this weekend goes to buy food for the Community Meal and also supplies for the Community Food Bank. Last month we bought hamburger from the money we collected. Thanks!
