Kathrein offers with the new MSK 120 a compact, portable digital measurement instrument for Sat-IF reception systems.
The day-light compatible 5,7” TFT screen is designed to display video for both SD (MPEG-2) and HD (MPEG-4) programmes in suitable high defi nition.
An integrated CI interface is available to allow the decoding of coded programmes ¹). The control and selection menu and measurement results are both displayed on the instruments screen.
The instrument has been specifi cally designed for fi eld use, integrated in a stable metal housing with front panel control using a completely encapsulated keyboard, and powered by a hi-value lithium-polymer battery. Delivered together with a robust protective case the MSK 120 is ready for every-day operation. Logically built up menu structures, with several satellites and many programmes presaved support extremely simple handling.
Designed around a hi-grade spectrum analyser, with DiSEqCTM integrated (incl. SCR OneCable system commands) a wide complement of measurement possibilities, such as level, BER, MER, constellation, spectrum and much more is possible, making the MSK 120 the premium unit for daily use in installing, tuning, fault search and analysis, and in the aligning of Sat reception and distribution systems.
