he Con verter for Microsoft Publisher lets you quickly convert Microsoft Publisher

You can convert one p ublication at a tim e, or batch con vert a group of p ublications at on ce.

The amo un t of time it takes to convert a p ublication depend s on your comp uter configuration,

networ k activity, and on t he size and com plexity of the pu blication. The Converter for Microsoft

Publisher does no t supp ort pu blications written in d ou ble-byte Asian languages, such as Japan ese.

Inst alling t he Conver t er f or M icrosof t Publisher

Adobe PageMaker 6.52 mu st be installed on your system in ord er to u se the Converter for

Microsoft Publisher. The Co nverter au tom atically installs with PageMaker 6.5 Plus.

To install the Convert er for M icrosoft Publisher:

Exit all programs run ning on your comp uter and turn off all virus-protection software.

    2

Drag th e Converter for Microsoft Pub lisher folder (Mspcon v) to a desired location on the har d

Publications u sing these Microsoft Publisher features will not convert to PageMaker u nless you

make some ad justmen ts. For mo re information, see Features that change or do n ot imp ort

on p age 4 of this User Guide.

    Page size:

The largest single page size that you can have in a PageMaker file is 42 by 42 inches,

and its largest facing page size (like a boo k) is 17 by 22 in ches. If the M icrosoft Pu blisher page

    Numbe r of pages:

The maximum number of regular pages that you can have in a PageMaker file
