*73.4% of newly diagnosed cancers were detected at the late incurable stages (III and IV stages) of cancer and 67.1% of those cases ends fatally within one year of diagnosis.

*24.3% of the Mongolian adult population are current daily smokers,92.3% consume less than 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day,7.5% are physically inactive,39.8% are overweight or obese,27.3% have hypertension.combined NCD risk factors demonstrates that 1 in 5 (26.4%) Mongolian adults and 1 in 2 (53,8%) adults above 45 years of age have three or more common modifiable NCD risk factors.In general, smoking, physical inactivity, hypertension, prevalence of latent diabetes and hypercholesterolemia remained stable, while fruit and vegetable consumption decreased, and prevalence of obesity increased in the past 4 years.
