AXYPET™ is a high precision digital pipette which combinesall the requirements of a modern pipette. Its body shape isequally comfortable in small and large hands, with designinnovations such as two ejector buttons providing the userwith the ability to optimise personal ergonomics.

Constructed from durable PP/PVDF they are noticeably lighterin weight than many competitive models. Internally,featuring medical grade stainless steel springs/pistons* plusa PTFE/O-ring seal system for a long serviceable life, theyrepresent excellent value. Each pipette has its own uniqueserial number etched into the body, is individually calibratedand is supplied with its own quality control certificate.Additionally, the tip ejector incorporates height adjusters toac com mo date virtually all brands of tips. AXYPET™ Multichannel Pi pettes share many of thefeatures of AXYPET™ single channel models. The plungerand ejector buttons are er go nom i cal ly located and op er atesmooth ly to allow com fort able pipetting by both right andleft handed users. For com fort able pipetting in any direction,the tip manifold rotates 360°. The innova tive ejector bar iscurved, al low ing the tips to be pushed off in steps, there -fore re duc ing the amount of force re quired for ejec tion.

The use of ad vanced, light weight ma te ri als (in both the bodyof the pipette and the piston assemblies) results in a pipettethat will stand up to constant use, yet is easy to hold, evenduring ex tend ed pipetting sessions.

AXYPET™ Multichannels feature a revolutionarysuspension system which allows the shafts to retractslightly when they are pressed against a row of pipettetips. Each shaft moves independently, resulting in aneven sealing force being applied to all 8 or 12 tips. Thisensures that all tips are secured on their individual shaftwith the minimum of effort - and will not fall off !!

With reduced forces being applied, tip sealing pressuresare reduced to a minimum and so eliminatethe common incidence of tips beingjammed on to the pipette shaft. As a resultof these reduced forces, tips can also beejected effortlessly.

Axygen Hydrophobic Filter Barrier tips are ideal for DNA amplification and microbiological

applications where trace contamination can completely invalidate results. The filter prevents cross-

contamination from sample to sample by creating a physical barrier in the tip to inhibit and block

aerosols. Although each model allows a comfortable air gap between the rated volume and the filter, in

the event of over-pipetting, samples can be easily recovered, by simply dispensing.

Every polyethylene filter, free from DNA inhibitors, is inserted into the tip robotically to ensure freedom

from nuclease contamination. All Axygen Filter Tips comply with USP 3127 (Heavy Metal Contamination)

and are certified to be RNase, DNase and endotoxin safe. They are packaged in sealed-bottom racks with

lids to prevent contamination and are available pre-sterilised by e-beam radiation.
