The rederings for FIS World Championship in Liberec 2009
incorpo-
rated desired alternaves for design of the ski jumping hill and
cross-
country stadium in Vesec. As the design was underway the 3D
models
helped designers and the owner in decision-making process.
In the recent years the owner had decided to complexly retrot
theenre sporng area on the Jested Mountain. Aer the repairs of
K120and K90 ski jumping hills in the years of 1997 and 1999, the
ski slopeswere altered for higher capacity, lighng was installed
throughout the
whole area and the possibility of using snow-cannons was added.
Aretenon pond was built in the lower part of the area in order to
sup-
ply the snow-cannons.
