As I began the process of generating outcome analysis on pain management and Sports Rehab through Medex’s radio frequency device, I have followed two principles. I do not want patient’s outcomes to be influenced by their finances. These cases are generated at no expense to the patient. Additionally, I do not overlap modalities. Each of these cases represents outcomes based upon the effect of radio frequency exclusively. My first case outcomes were documented through Single Visual Analogue pain scale assessment. In July of 2008, I started using the Quadruple Visual Analogue Pain Scale system. I found that patient’s express their pain experience in different ways. The Quadruple VAS provides useful information relative to each patient’s pain and Rehab experience. From the dramatic ten to one pain reduction, to the less dramatic minor improvement, RFINE radio frequency device is showing early clinical trial evidence of great outcomes in pain management and Rehab.
