Student group insurance (學生團體保險 )
Insurance coverage:An insured student is entitled to insurance coverage with regard to death, physical disability or hospitalization as a result of a disease or accident.
Insurance Payment Claim (or Application)Submit an application form with student ID card, a medical report and an original receipt to the Division.
The application form is available in the download section of the Division’s website.

Leave of absence (學生請假 ) NCKU Rules on Student Leave of Absence.
Application for a leave of absence shall be made in advance. In a special case, a belated application shall be completed within five days of a student returning from their leave of absence.
Proof or document is required for the following situations:(1) Official business leave, (2) Any leave of two consecutive days or longer, (3) Going abroad.

Scholarship (獎學金 ) Scholarship information will be continually
updated and posted on the Division’s website .
A scholarship information system is available on the Division’s website for students to search for the information about any specific scholarship applications and/or results

Rewards and Penalties (獎懲 ) Students who perform well will be given a
reward as a form of encouragement
**commendation 嘉獎 **minor merit 記小功 **major merit 記大功 Students who misbehave will be given a
penalty as a reminder to improve their behavior
**reprimand 申誡 **minor/major demerit 記小 / 大過
**regular surveillance 定期察看 **dismissal 退學 **expulsion 開除學籍

Rewards and Penalties –
Conduct Grade (操行分數 ) The pre-set conduct grade is 80. If students have
not been punished for any demerit, the grade will automatically be increased to the score 85.
Mentor's grade (±3 points )
Reward and penalty grades (±n points )
Attendance grade (m points )
If conduct grade is below 60 dismissal

Student Appeals (學生申訴 ) The Student Appeals Committee is established to
safeguard the rights and interests of students.
Student who disagrees with a school administrative, academic or disciplinary decision on the ground that it violates the rights and interests of students should first seek an administrative resolution to the issue.
Student who disagrees with the administrative resolution is then entitled to lodge an appeal with the Student Appeals Committee through the Division.

Student Appeals Procedure: A student who receives a letter of
notification for a disciplinary resolution is eligible to appeal through a due administrative procedure. If an administrative resolution fails, the student may proceed to appeal in written form to the Student Appeals Committee within ten days of being notified of the resolution.

Electronic Interactive System for Teachers & Students
Student Assistance Division
e-system for Teachers & Students (導生 e點通 )
An interactive platform for students, their advisors and administrative staff in the University.
Includes “Student Personal Information Record,” “Academic Performance of Past Years,” and “Enrolled Courses, ” etc.
One of its subsystems, called “Student Opinion”, allows students to voice their concerns or suggestions, which will then be processed online to the person/office in charge for a response.
