Merciful

INTRODUCTION

In the present era, especially after the attacks

of September 11, 2001, terrorism has become

the most critical issue facing humanity , and the

greatest obstacles threatening peace and

security. This phenomenon expanded gradually

within the day-to-day life , and penetrated the

whole world. Confronting the situation ,on 8

September 2006 a global fight against terrorism

adopted by Member States of the United Nations

after the emergence of the following types :

government terror -

- nongovernment terrorism

- political terrorism

- non-political terrorism

- bioterrorism

- cyber terrorism

- ecoterrorism

- nuclear terrorism

- narcoterrorism

All of these categories melted in one pot

leading up to deliberate murder , kidnapping ,

robbery , piracy , sabotage of transport , release

of toxic substances, water poisoning , fire

starting , prevention of freedom of movement ,

prohibition against expression of opinion,

destruction of the Web, and ethnic cleansing .

The result of these conditions is the collapse of

the political , social, and psychological aspects of

many parts of the world due to large–scale

mechanisms that influence daily practices , news

casts, newspapers, and reports of

correspondents .

Whatever the case may be , it is observed that

each time forms of terror adopt modern methods

and techniques , new terms and expressions

are born , multiply and spread out very rapidly to

a great extent of forming the basis of this

dictionary which I offer to the interested readers

in order not to get lost , and to really understand

what's happening around them.
