My name is Natthaporn Chitanont from mechanical engineering at KMITL. You can call me Ice. Today I will present about Germany with three main ideas. The first thing is about capital city of Germany. The second is history of Germany and the last one is about German Food. Let’s start with capital city, Capital of Germany is called Berlin, Berlin is the capital city of Germany and one of the 16 states of Germany with a population of 3.3 million people. It is Germany's largest city and is the second most populous city proper and the seventh most populous urban area in the European Union. Berlin located in the northeastern of Germany on the River Spree. It has about 4.5 million residents from over 180 nations. Due to its location in the European Plain, It is influenced by a temperate seasonal climate. Around one third of the city's area is composed of forests, parks, gardens, rivers and lakes. Next, I will present about Berlin wall one of the most famous story of Germany history. The Berlin Wall was a barrier constructed by the German Democratic Republic or East Germany Starting on 13 August 1961 that completely cut off West Berlin from surrounding East Germany. The barrier included guard towers placed along large concrete walls, which circumscribed a wide area later known as the death strip that contained anti-vehicle trenches and other defenses. The Eastern Bloc claimed that the wall was erected to protect its population from fascist elements conspiring to prevent the "will of the people" in building a socialist state in East Germany. The last topic is really relaxing topic. The topic is German food. When we talk about German beverage what kind of beverage we think about? Exactly beer! Beer is at the top of the list. There are hundreds of local and regional breweries producing beers of all types and flavors of good quality. The world's oldest brewery is in Bavaria.I will introduce some kind of good German beer. First Pils, the most popular type of beer in Germany, is produced in Berlin, Hamburg, the Ruhr, Hesse and Stuttgart. Altbier, a very early product of the brewer's art, can be found today all over the country. In conclusion, the thing that I tell you is not all of famous story in Germany, there is more amazing thing you can do. Berlin is good for travel, there are many histories to learn and not only beer that the signature of food of Germany. You can go there and learn how native people live there. Go abroad and see with your own eye. Hope you enjoy with my presentation. Thank you for listening.
