Lets look at a short exchange in a video about trying to eat an onigiri in less than 30 seconds...
Onigiri are rice balls
In this trending challenge, the convention is to use onigiri from a convenience store

Interviewer: はじめさん。
Hajime-san: はい。
Interviewer: あの~、おにぎりって知ってます?
Hajime-san: おにぎり?
Interviewer: おにぎり。
Hajime-san: 名前だけを聞いたことがあります。
Interviewer: あ、名前だけ? あのね、おにぎりっていうのは・・・
Hajime-san: はい。
Interviewer: こう、おこめを手でにぎって、
え~、それをノリでつつんでね、
さんかくとか、まるとかって
中にじぶんの好きなぐを入れて食べる
というものなんだけど、食べたい?

Structure
[short past (-ta) form verb] + ことがある・ない
I have/haven’t [done such-and-such]

Example from the video
Interviewer: おにぎりって知ってます? You familiar with onigiri?
Hajime-san: 名前だけを聞いたことがあります。 I’ve only ever heard the name.
● 「聞いたことがある」 means to have the experience of hearing (something)
● 「だけ」 here means only
● The sentence without 「だけ」 would be 「名前を聞いたことがあります。」 = I’ve heard the name before.

Structure
1. Put the verb in the ~ます form2. Replace 「ます」 with 「たいです」 or 「たくないです」
Examples「わー、きれいな海
(うみ)。およぎたいです!
What a beautiful ocean. I want to swim!

があまりおもしろくないから、見たくないです。
That movie is not very interesting, so I don’t want to see it.
むずかしいから、おにぎりをつくりたくないです。
