Поширюється торгівля дітьми.

Використовують дітей, від яких відмовилися батьки, для пересадки органів.

В Україні три чверті дітей з хронічними хворобами.

З`явився новий тип дітей – діти вулиці.

Найваливіший міжнародно-правовий акт у цій галузі – це Конвенція про права дитини, схвалена на 44-й сесії Генеральної Асамблеї ООН 20 листопада 1989 року.

All children are equal in their rights. All children, regardless of race, colour, sex, language, religion, social origin, have equal rights. The state cannot violate any of the rights.

Every child has the right to housing. Parents must provide the child with housing.

Every child has the inalienable human right to life. Each State has to ensure the healthy development of children - their young citizens.

All children have the right to full value food. Every child has a right on the standard of living, necessary for physical, mental and spiritual development. The proper feed, habitation and clothes enter here.

The child must have the right from birth to a name and nationality.

No child should be offended and profaned. No child can be exposed to torture, inhuman treatment, punishment and unlawful arrest.

All children have the right to education. Every child has the right to education. The state must provide free primary education. The state also has to ensure accessibility of secondary and higher education.

The child has the right to personal belongings. No one has the right to interfere in the personal life.

All children have the right to love and care. If the family is not responsible for the child, the state must provide this child with proper care.

Конвенція ООН про права людини має 54 статті, написані

вони 6 мовами.

ООН має комітет з прав дитини, кожна держава йому звітує про

заходи, які вжито згідно з Конвенцією.

Він же досліджує, як у країнах дотримуються права.
