- 사적 자리에서 질문 내용 (off the record) -(1) Prof. Jairus Grove 님 서울에 저의 제자들에게 미래학을 소개하고 하와이 대학교의 미래학 장점 등을 알려주고 싶습니다 . 이 학교에서 미래학을 배우면 다른 학교보다 우수한 경쟁력이 무엇이 있다고 생각하시는지요 ?
(2) 앞으로 한국의 미래학 분야가 어떻게 발전하는 것이 가능하고 바람직할까요 ? 현재 한국은 미국과는 다른 경제적 안보적 ( 남북 대치 ) 문화적 차이를 가지고 있습니다 .
(3) 저는 2 년 전 데이토 교수님을 만나고 미래학을 처음 접하였습니다 . 그 후 웨어러블 디바이스 등 한국에서 최신 ICT 기술의 인문학적 이해를 공부하였는데요 . 만약 저같은 공학자 또는 개발자가 미래학을 접목하고 배우는 기회를 갖는다면 가장 좋은 방법이 무엇이 있을까요 ?
(4) 제가 한국에 돌아가 여러 분야에 활동을 하면서 다양한 분들을 만나고 있습니다 . 예를 들면 기자부터 정치인까지 다양한데 , 그들에게 필요한 것이 미래 정책 아젠다 발굴 등이 있습니다 . 혹시 Prof. Jairus Grove 님께서 향후 한국에 오셔서 공동 연구나 세미나 참여 등이 가능할지요 ?
(5) 앞으로 긴 호흡으로 연구하고저 하시는 미래학 분야와 평생 과업으로 해결하고저 하시는 미래학에 대한 연구 주제가 있으시면 부탁드립니다 .(6) 한국에서는 빅데이터에 대한 관심이 높습니다 . 특히 버락 오바마 대통령의 재선 과정에서 보여준 빅데이터 활용이 현재 정치권에 화두입니다 . 한국에서는 이를 네트워크 정당 또는 애플리케이션을 통한 소통 증대로 보는데요 ?빅데이터를 활용한 정치에 대한 긍정적 부정적 효과 등 의견을 듣고 싶습니다 .
