Volunteering Opportunities at SV Temple, Pittsburgh S.V. Temple invites devotees to sign-up to serve in the Devotee Committees that are of interest to them. A signup book is available at the front deskin the Temple. The deadline to sign-up is August 31, 2019 for serving in the Devotee Committees that will be formed for the year 2019-20 startingOctober 1, 2019. Devotee Committees:Cultural | Education | Humanitarian | Mahila | Maintenance | Publication | Religious | Youth Please note, any devotee who wishes to be nominated for Sri Venkateśwara Temple Corporate body membership should serve at least two (2)years as a member of a Devotee Committee and should attend a minimum of 25% of the meetings held each year in all Committees one has signed-up. Eligible devotees will then be invited to submit their nomination to become the Corporate Body Members. They will be elected as the CorporateBody members at the Annual Corporate Body meeting held on the third Saturday of September every year.
‘Devotee Drivers’ Convenience Service S.V. Temple has been trying to improve the parking experience for our devotees. During the busy ‘Summer Weekends’, drivers will be able to droptheir families off at designated areas in front of the Temple before proceeding to find a parking spot. Once they park at the Upper or Lower parkinglot, they can wait under the Canopy to be picked up and driven to join their family at the Temple. At the end of their Temple visit, the drivers will againbe driven back to their parking area to pick up their vehicles and then pick up the rest of their group.

Deity vastram Donation ServiceŚri Venkateśwara Temple, Pittsburgh is pleased to provide New Silk Sarees to Devotees for purchasing them to offer to the deity of their choice.These saris are only meant to be offered to the deities. 1. Once bought, the new saris will be offered to The Deity of your choice.2. These newly offered saris are made available for sale at a later date.3. If interested, devotees can still purchase previously offered saris and dhotis from the front office display.
Dress Code for Visitors As per the Dress Code of SV Temple, visitors of 12 years and older who plan to enter the Temple should have attire that covers persons fromshoulder to legs. SV Temple will provide clothing to visitors at a nominal cost who need them to comply with the Dress Code
Cultural Fund SV temple has a cultural fund in order to solicit donations from our community so that we can continue to bring artists of great caliberfrom the world of music and dance to the community.
Cash/ check/ credit card contributions can be made directly by calling the temple office (412-373-3380). Checks should be made payable to SV temple with Cultural fund written in the memo field.
