    In Texas History, we just

    Fantastic! This six weeks, stu-

    dents will explore the first

    Europeans that come to the

    Americas and their reasons for

    coming to the New World.

Students will receive a project on

Explorers the week we come back

    we come back from the

    Thanksgiving Break.

    Parents: Look For it!

    UPDATE: The Texas Studies

Weekly Readers in HERE! Thanks to all the parents

who helped bring them into our classroom. Your

child will bring their copies home soon-(in sets of 7).

Over the last six weeks, students learned

about different types of energy, and

developed a circuit and an electromagnet.

It was fun, surprising and exciting to see

students engaged in what unfolded in theclassroom everyday!

Now the fun continues as we venture into

Earth Science and what our planet

contains. Students will identify what soil is,

its importance and what happens when our
