FAQ 1. How to generate request code of Nemo dongle? 

Go to Start  | All Programs | Nemo Tools | Secure Update Utility | Generate Request Code 

Save the request code in your computer. Name of request code file should be in the given format: 

<Nemo product>_<License code>_<Circle name> 

EX: For Nemo analyzer it should be NA_0x0EA7_Mumbai 

EX: For Nemo outdoor it should be OD_ 0x0DFA_Mumbai 

               EX:  For Nemo MOS outdoor it should be OD_ MOS_0x0DFA_Mumbai 

 

2. How to update the license of the Nemo Dongle? 

Go to Start  | All Programs | Nemo Tools | Secure Update Utility 

Browse for the new License file. Click Apply Code 

The message of successful update will come. 

3. How to see License information in Nemo Outdoor?  Open the Nemo Outdoor. Go to Help | License information 

  

4. How to see License information in Nemo analyze?  Go to Help About | Help | Copy protection 

 

  

5. How to see version of Nemo Outdoor which we are using? Open the Nemo Outdoor. Go to Help | About  

  In the above example the version of Nemo Outdoor is 5.70.8.  

 6. How to see version of Nemo Analyze which we are using? 

 Open the Nemo Analyze. Go to Help | About  

  

              In the above example version the version of Nemo Analyze is 5.18.00. 

7. How to make BTS file? 

(i) First make the Excel sheet of the required parameters. 

For GSM:

(ii) Copy and paste the data from Excel sheet to Notepad. 

(iii) Go to Edit | Replace. Replace the spaces between parameters by semicolon (;). 

               Ex: SYSTEM;SITE;LAT;LON;CELL;CH;BSIC;CID;DIR 

(iv) Save the file. Replace the extension of the file “.txt” by “.nbf” by renaming the file. 

(v) To open the BTS file in Nemo Outdoor: 

Open the Nemo Outdoor, Go to Data | Map | World map | Add BTS File 

The BTS file will be loaded in the Map; we can see the all BTS locations in the Map.   

 

(vi) To open The BTS file in Nemo Analyze 

Open the Nemo Analyze, Go to File | Measurement | Open BTS 

Select the BTS file which you want to open and click Open. The BTS will be loaded in the Analyze. 

 

To see the BTS click on Base Stations

Drag and drop the BTS file to the window, all BTS locations will be seen in the Map
