China International Industry Fair – CIIF is jointly organized by National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Science, Chinese Academy of Engineering, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, co-organized by China Machinery Industry Federation and managed by Shanghai East Best & Lansheng International (Group) Co.,Ltd. Since its launch in 1999, CIIF, an UFI-approved event, has become a leading event on equipment manufacturing in China, through implementing “professionalization, marketization, internationalization and branding” as its strategies for over 16 years. as its strategies for over 16 years.
CIIF 2014, or the 16 session of CIIF, was successfully held from 4 to 8 November, 2014 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Themed as “High-end, Intelligent, Green”, CIIF occupied totally 182,250 square meters space and attracted 2,101 exhibitors from 27 countries or regions. 52 conferences or forums were held concurrently.
141,315 visitors from 82 countries and regions and 31 provinces of Mainland China attended CIIF 2014 including registered 121,108 trade visitors from across the industry spectrum.
CIIF 2014 hit a new record high for whatever the show scale, the geographical distribution of domestic and foreign exhibitors or the number of trade visitors. The level of exhibits and brand show influence reach to a new level. CIIF 2014 is one of the most influential branding shows in China with a growing coverage both in home and abroad regions

CIIF 2014 got a higher number of exhibition area by oversea exhibitors, registered 5.2% increase compared with the
session of last year .It accounted 30% of the total display area. 596 overseas exhibitors covered 2,433 booths were
from 26 countries and regions including Japan, Germany, USA, Italy, South Korea, Switzerland, UK, France as well as
Hong Kong, Taiwan regions and etc. JETRO, Korea NEXNINE, Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’
Association - TEEMA, Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry - TAMI and other oversea organizers brought
manufacturing enterprises to participate the theme shows under CIIF.

1,505 exhibitors from 28 domestic provinces and 5 cities with independent
planning covered 5,669 booths in CIIF 2014. Number of booth surpassed
that of last session by 5.63%, hit a record a new high. The exhibitors from
28 provinces –all provinces of Mainland China excluded Hainan Province,
Inner Mongolia and Tibet Autonomous Region, as well as five cities with
independent planning like Dalian, Qingdao, Ningbo, Xiamen, Shenzhen,
showcased the cutting-edge achievements of high-end manufacturing of
China competing with their oversea counterparts. CIIF 2014 demonstrated the
transformation and upgrading for equipment manufacturing industrial, and
technological progress on emerging industry under the circumstance that
China implement the national policies of deepening reforms and
innovation-driven development.

booth, and we had a very good and active interaction and communication. Both the clients and we were looking
forward to carrying out in-depth cooperation after the show. We got a lot from it.
SAPThanks a lot for the support and assistance from ICTS management team. We received a highly attention from
government clients though it’s the very first time for SAP attending such big trade show as CIIF, and we are very
glad to see crowds of buying groups all over the China market continuously come to our booth during the
exhibition. There are nearly 5000 highly potential clients visited out booth based on our statistics. We hope to
show up again in 2015!
HITACHI ChinaIt’s our first time to attend CIIF-ICTS under the name of Hitachi group. For now actually, what we got from ICTS
on site was far beyond our expectations, we approached a lot of high valued customers and if there’s no
accidental surprise, we would choose to attend ICTS again, surely with further input and more of our cutting-edge
IT technology and cool products.
CheryWe have continuously participated the CIIF for 4 years, and received very good result. This year we held a new
auto launching activity and achieved great success that visitors came in a continuous stream.

CIIF Opening Forum released cutting-edge information

CIIF 2014 opening forum was held concurrently with the 10th session Global City
Information Forum. 3 authorities in their research scope from 3 countries released
keynote speeches and share their research perspective, who were Mr. WU
Hequan, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), and Dr.
Christoph Meinel, Academician of the German National Academy of Science and
Engineering, and Mr. Anthony Bechu, President, Agency d`achitectyre A Bechu
(France). Their speeches focus on the topic of the integration of IT application with
industrialization.
The topic of Mr. WU Hequan, Chairman of the Internet Society of China (ISC), was
“Transformation of Management Mode in the Era of Big Data”, which carried on a
thorough analysis of big data from the industrial application, the transformation of
production technology and three angles of enterprise strategic transformation.
Dr. Christoph Meinel, Academician of the German National Academy of Science
and Engineering, Chairman of the German IPv6 Council, gave a speech themed
“Development Trend in the Industrial 4.0 Era”, which brought a vivid interpretation
on Industrial 4.0.
Mr. Anthony Bechu, President of Agency d`achitectyre A Bechu (France) address
with the theme “Sustainable Development for Information Technology and
Architecture: Eco-cities”. The speech selected the human cultural perspective,
focus on the sustainable development of information technology and architecture,
illustrated the construction and the future prospect of ecological city in the
information age.

52 conferences & forums were held during CIIF 2014 in accordance with the theme as “High-end, Intelligent &
Green”, combined with three parts which is development forum, the SCI-TECH forum and industry/corporate
forum. The developing forum included three activities, including “China Industrial Robotics Summit 2014”, “China
Smart City Industrial Development (Shanghai) Forum”. The SCI-TECH forum, centered with “The Academicians
Round-Table Conference” with the topic “Drive and Innovation by Big Data”, included 15 special academic
exchange activities. Industry and business forums mainly around the release and exchange of new products, new
technology, closely integrated with the topics of CIIF and the theme shows, organized a total of 15 activities. The
forum topics focus the forefront of issues of technical, economic and management aspects of the world in the
development of the equipment manufacturing industry, highlighting the cutting-edge, forward-looking, professional,
academic spectators and achieved a good response.

CIIF 2014 achieved great attention and well-reported in domestic and
international media. The media such as Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, SMG
News, Dragon TV, Phoenix TV, CBN, Shanghai People's Broadcasting
Station, China Daily, Reuters, Business Wire, Kyodo News, KBS and other
medias were flourishing report of CIIF 2014. The Shanghai Municipal
Government held a pre-show press conference in Shanghai. Eastday.com
presented a full range of special reports and live video interviews in the 5-day
event. In addition, Xinhua, people.cn, sina, tencent, 163, hexun, the Paper.cn
and new media give a detailed report. Journalists from 223 cooperative
medias reported CIIF 2014 and over 791 published signed articles and
interviews for the event.
A wide coverage of promotion before and during CIIF was presented through
medias, marketing partners, Embassies and Consulates in China and the
Chamber of Commerce. A TV and radio advertisement is published in all
Shanghai Metro stations, Dragon TV, STV and Oriental Radio one month
before the opening of CIIF. CIIF Flagpole advertising was published on
Yan’an Road highway, North-south highway (downtown Shanghai) and
around SNIEC. Other marketing packages such as call center, Direct mail,
EDM, SMS to professional visitors and Wechat, website, weibo and etc
expanded CIIF’s influence
