1] School days: School days will target a total of 40 primary and middle schools (5-13 years) in the three target townships, selected among the poorest wards of each township. Averagely 100 pupils per school for an estimated total of 4000 will be reached, using appropriate educational kits, simple tools, games and handbooks. Awareness methodologies will be based on peer to peer communication (child to child) and on “child to parent” approach, with delivering of messages for the families of the directly targeted pupils. School teachers will also be involved in the events and will also act as agent of messages transmission. For each school two days are foreseen, performed in separate moments. The activity will be carried out with the support of community facilitators, selected by the same communities during the preparation phase and meeting with ward and township authorities and representatives. The implementation of school days is foreseen to take place during the second and third year of project implementation.


၁)ေကာငးလႈပ႐ားမႈေန႔မား : ေကာငးလႈပ႐ားမႈေန႕မားသည ပစမတထားသည ၿမ႕နယ ၃ၿမ႕နယမ ၿမ႕နယ ၁ချခငးစတြင ေ႐ြးခယထားေသာ အဆငးရဆးရပကြကမားအတြငး႐ မလတနးႏင အလယတနး(၅-၁၃ႏစ)ေကာငးေပါငးစစေပါငး ၄၀အား ဥးတညသြားမညျဖစသည။ သငေလာေသာ ပညာေပးပစၥညးစမား၊ ႐း႐ငးေသာပစၥညးမား၊ ကစားနညးမား ႏင လကစြစာေစာငမား သး၍ ေကာငးတေကာငးလင ပမးမ ေကာငးသား ၁၀၀ ေယာကႏင ခန႔မနးေျခ စစေပါငး ၄၀၀၀ သ႔ေရာက႐မညျဖစသည။ အသပညာေပးစညး႐းေရးနညးလမးသည သက႐ြယဆငတဆကသြယေရး (ကေလးမ ကေလး) ႏင တက႐ကပစမတထားေသာ ေကာငးသား၏ မသားစအတြက သတငးစကားမားေပးပ႔ျခငးပါေသာ “ကေလးမ မဘ” ခဥးကပျခငး အေပၚအေျခခမညျဖစသည။ ေကာငးဆရာမားသညလညး လပေဆာငမႈမားတြင ပါဝငမညျဖစၿပး သတငးစကားမား ထတလႊငေပးမႈ ကယစားလယ အျဖစ လပေဆာငမညျဖစသည။ တေကာငးလင ၂ ရကဟ ခန႔မနးထားၿပး အခနကာလခြျခားလပေဆာငမညျဖစသည။ ဤလပငနးသည ျပငဆငမႈအပငးတြင လထမေ႐ြးခယထားေသာ community facilitators မား၏ ပပးမႈျဖငလပေဆာငမည ျဖစၿပး ရပကြကႏင ၿမ႕နယအာဏာပငမားကယစားလယမားႏင ေဆြးေႏြးမညျဖစသည။ ေကာငးလႈပ႐ားမႈေန႔မား အေကာငအထညေဖာမႈသည စမကနး အေကာငအထညေဖာမႈ ၏

2] Community public days: Community public days to raise awareness will be organized in each targeted township (1 day per township per year for three years): nevertheless, the scope of this activity is especially to equip and improve PCCD staff at township level in their sensitization activities already in place. During the preparation phase, CESVI project staff and PCCD members will get in contact with ward authorities (responsible of delimited area of the township) in order to present the initiative, advocate for support and identify volunteers for the initiatives proposed. The open days will be organized by CESVI in collaboration with PCCD. Activities to be carried out include: •cleaning campaigns and •the set up of info points in strategically chosen locations in the target townships. The info points will distribute leaflets and provide information on environmental issues and SW disposal practices, advertising also the recycling pilot projects promoted by the project. The project will support these events with the provision of basic equipment for the cleaning activities and IEC and promotional material purposely produced.


၂) လထလႈပ႐ားမႈေန႔မား: သ႐နားလညမျမငတကလာေစရနအတြက လထလပ႐ားမႈေန႔မားသည ပစမတထားသည ၿမ႕နယ တၿမ႕နယျခငးစတြင စစဥေဆာင႐ြကသြားမည (သးႏစအတြက တႏစ ၿမ႕နယတၿမ႕နယစတြင ၁ရက): သ႔ေသာ ၄ငးလပငနးစဥ၏ နယပယ ရည႐ြယခကမာ အထးသျဖင ၿမ႕နယအဆင ပတဝနးကင/သန႔႐ငးေရး ဝနထမးမား၏ ႐ႏငၿပးသား ၄ငးတ႔၏ႏႈးေဆာမႈ လပငနးစဥမားက တးတကလာေစရနႏင ျပညစေစရနျဖစသည။ ျပငဆငျခငးအဆငအတြငး၊စမကနးဝနထမးႏငပတဝနးကင/သန႔႐ငးေရးအဖြ႔ဝငမားသညရပကြကအာဏာပငမားႏင (သကဆငသညၿမ႕နယ၏ဆငရာေနရာ)အဆကအသြယ႐လမမညျဖစၿပးကနဥးစတငမႈမားတငျပျခငး၊ေထာကခရန

အတြက စညး႐းျခငးႏင စစဥထားေသာ ကနဥးေျခလမးမားအတြက ေစတနာဝနထမးမား သတမတရနအတြက ျဖစသည။ ဖြငပြေန႔မားသည ပတဝနးကင/သန႔႐ငးေရး၏ ပးေပါငးေဆာင႐ြကမႈႏင CESVI မ စစဥမညျဖစပါသည။ ေဆာင႐ြကမႈလပငနးစဥမားတြင ပါဝငမႈမာ:

•သန႔႐ငးေရးလႈႈ႕ေဆာပြမားႏင

•ပစမတထားသည ၿမ႕နယမားတြင ဗဟာေျမာကေ႐ြးခယထားေသာ သတငးအခကအလကေနရာမား တညေထာင

ျခငးျဖစသည။ သတငးအခကအလကေနရာမားသည လကကမးစာေစာငမားျဖန႔ေဝျခငး၊ ပတဝနးကငဆငရာကစၥရပႏင စြန႔ပစပစၥညးစြန႔ပစမႈ အေလအကငမားႏငပတသက၍ သတငးအခကအလကမား ပပးေပးျခငး၊ စမကနးမ ျမငတငေပးေသာ ျပနလညတထြငအသးခမႈ ေ႐႕ေျပးစမကနးမားအားလညး ေၾကျငာျခငး ျပမည ျဖစပါသည။ အဆပါကစၥရပမားအား စမကနးမ သန႔႐ငးေရးအတြက အေျခခကရယာ တနဆာပလာမား ႏင IEC ႏင ရည႐ြယခက႐စြာ

ဥးတညထတလပထားေသာ ျမငတငေရး ပစၥညးမား ပပးျခငးျဖင ေထာကပသြားမညျဖစသည။


3] IZC Sensitization: In the Industrial Zone of Hlaing Thar Yar described above, awareness on proper handling and reduction of IW is considered particularly relevant. The project will organize a total of 3 workshops with the IZC of Hlaing Thar Yar, on the theme of industrial waste, environment and health. The workshops will be conducted by PCCD technicians and will be also an occasion to describe to the audience the outputs and documentation produced under the Result 1, in particular for what is concerning strategic guidelines and procedure for industrial waste management.


၃) စကမႈဇနေကာမတ ႏႈးေဆာျခငး: ေဖာျပထားသညအတငး လႈငသာယာၿမ႕နယ စကမႈဇနတြင သငေတာေသာ ကငတြယမႈအေပၚ အသပညာေပးျမငတငျခငး ႏင စကမႈစြန႔ပစပစၥညးမား ေလာခမႈသည အထးကကညသညဟ ယဆပါသည စကမႈစြန႔ပစပစၥညး၊ ပတဝနးကင ႏင ကနးမာေရး ေကာ႐းေပၚတြင လႈငသာယာစကမႈဇန ႏင စစေပါငး အလပ႐ေဆြးေႏြးပြ ၃ႀကမက စမကနးမစစဥေဆာင႐ြကမညျဖစသည။ အလပ႐ေဆြးေႏြးပြမားသည ပတဝနးကင/သန႔ရငးေရးမ ပညာ႐ငမားမ ေဆာင႐ြကမညျဖစၿပး၊ တကေရာကသမားက ရလဒ ၁ ေအာကတြင ျပလပေဆာင႐ြကထားေသာ ရရလာမႈမားႏင စာ႐ြကစာတမးမားအား ႐ငးလငးျပသရန အခြငအခါ ျဖစမညျဖစသည၊ အထးသျဖင စကမလပငနး စြန႔ပစပစၥညးမား စမခန႔ခြမႈ အတြက လပထးလပနညးႏင နညးဗဟာလမးညႊနမားအတြကျဖစပါသည။


4] Radio campaigns: The use of media will complete and integrate all the aspects of the awareness strategy. Regular radio broadcasting of sensitization messages on waste management best practices, environmental degradation and its effects on the population health, 3Rs best practices, and information about the initiatives undertaken by the project will be carried out during the three years. Content and type of radio messages will be designed by the communication consultant, taking into consideration the characteristics of the audience to be targeted. During three years, the project foresees the broadcasting of awareness messages (each lasting 5 minutes) for a total of 300 times (3 months every year for every day in the week) and 15 programs (each lasting 30 minutes) with interviews to citizens of the target townships and project participants. The targeted radio is radio City FM, of YCDC, covering the all City of Yangon, with a declared audience of: 80,000 private car owners, public buses with over a million costumers/day, 20,000 taxi, 750.000 households, 10,000 tea shops and drinking outlets, 150 hotels and 30,000 business. Radio City FM is the radio with the widest coverage in YC. Project staff estimations based on their declaration is at least 2.000.000 listeners.

how the different activities are inter-related and contribute to the campaign as a whole;

how the awareness campaign links to the other two components of the project;

a review of the financial means for the activities foreseen;

the development of KAP surveys to measure the effectiveness of the awareness campaign;

the compliance of the AC activities with the communication strategy document submitted to the EU
