Dear Mr.Wilkinson:
My name is Kallista Beaver. I am in the STAR Academy at Hackett High School. I have been in the STAR Academy for two years. In the STAR Academy we do a lot of hands on projects. Every year my class and I do a luncheon at the school. This year it will be called the Harvest unit. The Harvest unit gets us ready for life. We learn how to: set tables, cook, clean, follow directions, find a budget, write letters, and how to type.
I am asking for a donation to help us get what we need for the Harvest unit. Thank you for taking your time for reading my letter.
Sincerely,
Kallista Beaver

Dear Mr. Harp:
My name is Jasmyne Neal, and I am a part of the STAR Academy. This is my third year in this program here at Hackett High School. This year we are planning a Harvest unit which shows us how to set a table and welcome people when they walk in. We also learn how to make a budget and write business letters.
Our main dishes are a turkey and a ham with various sides and desserts. If you could please donate some of the items you think would be best for our unit, I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you for taking your time out of your busy schedule to read my letter.
Sincerely,
Jasmyne Neal
