Mars Cowley-SmythIntroduction

It’s been another exciting quarter for the Organisation! With lots of us changing divisions and products over the last three months.

I felt a huge amount of security in my ability to build my career once I was through the Business Development Programme. The fact that once I had learnt the 5 and 8 Steps meant that I now had the skill set to work with any product, in any campaign plus in any country in the world.

The system is so good it has been transferable to any client that I have chosen to work with. This has been proven time and time again over my career and also though the careers of Owners within the Organisation.

We have moved into new clients like Hello Fresh, Solar, World Vision Events and Dierenlot. This quarter we are recognising the achievements of

those who have, or are successfully transferring and hopefully give those of you about to do so some great tips!

This ability to adapt and change has kept the Organisation growing and I’m really proud and also excited to see the Organisation diversify into even more new things as the year progresses.

On a personal note, there have been some changes over the last quarter and as some of you may have noticed I have had a name change as I was married recently!

We were lucky enough to take February off and get married on Waiheke Islandjust off the coast of Auckland, New Zealand. We later honeymooned in Fiji inon the most magical island you could dream of! Good times!

Changing in to Solar has been a great experience and reminds me of when I initially worked with credit cards in the early part of my career in Sales and Marketing. I always love changes and take them on board as an opportunity to learn and develop myself as a business person.

Challenges always come with changing to a new client so it’s about adapting to the culture of the client, understanding any new customer requirements and then just creating relationships with people in the call centre, the product head and the Appco team. Personally, you need to fully on top of all aspects of the new client so you can coach your Leaders and Sector Leaders how they think, train and react to any new changes in the field. The product training and territory planning are extremely important. Most importantly it’s realizing for yourself and your people it will take up to 8 weeks to get good and be competent in the new product.

~ Krishna Chand

Success StoriesKsenia Shanyuk promoted two Leaders in one week. Rajesh

Hariharan has been number one 3 weeks in a row on the Solar bulletin. Mohammed Ali Akbar and Lesha Lleweyn are both up

and coming Game Changers.

Top Tips- Remember, it’s like buying shoes, they always take some time to get comfortable.- Have a great territory plan in place.- Use systems, follow the basics properly.- Learn the product inside and out.

James CoughlanHello Fresh

My office Intendo Marketing started with the new client Hello Fresh on the 30th of June. Half of my office went to Old Street to be retrained and the other half have gone to work with Mars Cowley-Smyth.

It’s the first product change I've experienced so I was aware it would be a new challenge for myself. I knew I had to set the pace in all the basics of the business. Being a great student and knowing that Owner is just a title, it was going to be about my actions going into this. If someone is getting a better result than me then I knew I wanted to learn from them regardless of what stage they were on. I was also very aware I had to do this to show my guys they'll benefit by networking. I became very focused on

sticking to systems I’ve learnt while getting promoted.

I 100% knew I had to set the pace in the field and use the law of averages to my advantage. I chose to make myself accountable by telling everyone I was going to ring the gong on my first day on badge, which I did. This was important to me as I believe it’s easier to prove to people what’s possible by showing not telling.

Hello Fresh as a client made the change smooth for us and have been amazing. The product itself is brilliant! Even if it doesn't fit some peoples lifestyle, they still say it’s a great product and recommend you to their neighbours. You get to wear an apron which creates a big indifference and brand awareness plus gives us presence in the territory. It's an easy product to get excited about as well because who doesn't like food?

The retrain into Hello Fresh in Old Street with Lawrence and Mars has been fantastic. Overall, the product sells itself; I'm so excited about the future working in this division and have big goals to high roll the Home Delivery division!!

World Vision EventsWorld Vision Events has been an exciting new project for us in the UK! Michelle Jawahall in London and Khilen Sheth in Manchester have been pioneering this campaign with increasingly exciting results.

Having the opportunity to change a child’s life by going in the field and getting them a sponsor is a rewarding feeling for all the Field Representatives involved. As you can see from the following article, they are really changing peoples lives.

Having the new channel of events opens up so many opportunities for people to open offices and we have great funding for some amazing events across the UK like The South Bank Show in London that runs for a month, the Royal County of Berkshire Show, Cambridge Town & Country Show and a huge variety of other festivals.

Its early days for this campaign but it looks exciting and with such a worthwhile cause look set to be a fantastic campaign for the future!

I am so excited to be involved with the launch of Charities Events Division. I started in the business in events so when the opportunity to start the Charities Events Division became available, I couldn't wait to get stuck in. It’s been challenging but very educational and I’m looking forward to rolling it out across the country for others to get on board.

World vision as a charity and client is great. The concept of ‘Every Child Free From Fear’ is amazing. Child sponsorship gives the personal connection between yourself and a child from one of the communities that World Vision are protecting.

The first Crew Leader promotion is coming over the next few weeks and lots of brand new guys are starting and doing a great job.

The office is improving every week. Guys are building their situation and doing a great job.

“The trip to Ibiza was no doubt one of the best. I have travelled to many countries and places for business and this trip was just extraordinary.

It's a privilege to be a part of The Premier Club, it gives me a chance to work directly with Simon. The amount of coaching provided by Simon, and the other speakers on the Premier call, is just invaluable.

To be in a group where other Premier Club guys are pushing for the next level keeps you on your toes and is a constant reminder that there is always a next level.

In order to get selected for Simon’s premier club you need to be a top performer, and show how badly you want to get in that club. I was trying to get in that club for 6 months; I kept pitching Simon over and over again with the reasons why I thought I should be a member. There is no seniority to join the club, what matters is how ambitious you are to go to next level in this business.”

“The trip to Ibiza was one of the best trips I have been on. I have been on many trips but the trip to Ibiza was unbelievable. It was a chance to live the dream and be in the world of the ultra rich for 2 days. The entire experience of being on the Yacht and being on the Marina was unbelievable.

Being in Simon’s premier club is a privilege and I feel lucky to get a chance to work with him very closely. It has given me a chance to learn from the best which, I feel, is priceless. It has also helped me in getting along with other high performing Owners who are ambitious and want to achieve big things in the business. Being a part of the Premier Club has also helped me as I’m constantly getting coached by Simon and other experienced Owners.

To get selected into the Premier Club of Owners you need to be a high performing Owner with an amazing work ethic. Also, you need to be hungry to be a part of the club. There is no seniority to join, but the hunger to succeed has to be there.”

~ Satpal Oshan

Be a sales champion for your office, division, and country. Be the high roller every week, that’s what makes coaching people very easy as people will listen to your actions.

Be the leader everyone wants to hang out with, in the office or out; and people will want to be part of your crew and proud to a part of it.

Build a strong relationship with your leaders as they are the future of your company when you get promoted.

Have lots of first generation leaders as it gives you options and choices on who to work with based on performance, rather than a lack of options, where you end up spending time with the wrong people.

Have the best crew identity and have a great team spirit that's what drives sales and momentum to get your guys promoted and in turn, getting you promoted ..... -vVv- awooo :)

1. Never give up, just keep going.2. Use your support network - you don't need to do everything

yourself. People are there to coach you throughout your journey.3. Don’t watch other people around you and compare yourselves to

them - it will hinder you rather than help you.4. Do your own sales, money is our business you need to show that

sales is easy.5. Have fun, always. Life and working is easier when you are having

fun.

~ Stephanie Slate

1- Have a vision- Where do you want to go, know your why.

2- Have real goals- most important is that you write them down, talk about them a lot, have a reward attached to it and after achieving it enjoy the reward.

3- Be humble and adaptable - If you are humble people will see that and feel it. This really helped me be more adaptable as every situation is different I was able to learn off lots of people and confront the challenges I had head on.

4- Use the network; most importantly, use it straight away. I waited and could have learnt so much more, earlier.

5- BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. If he can do it, definitely I can do it!!

A Visit to the palaceI was very privileged to be invited to The Buckingham Palace British Red Cross Royal Garden Party on Thursday 12th June 2014. I was invited because Place Organisation raised £1.7 million in 2013 for The British Red Cross, it was a once in a lifetime day!

The sun was shining as we enjoyed the royal surroundings and I was even fortunate enough to be

close to Prince Charles as he wandered the crowds.
