find out 意为“发现、查明、弄清”，多指通过调查、寻问、打听、研究之后搞清楚，弄明白。如：

find 意为“找到、发现”，指通过寻找，发现某人、某物，强调找的结果。look for 意为“寻找”，是有目的地寻找，强调“寻找”这一动作。

注意与 find, look for的区别：

e.g. He can speak English at the age of five. =He can speak English when he was five.
