UU Congregation of the Two RiversCLIFTON PARK – The newly formed Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Two Rivers will meet on Sunday, February 27, in the meeting rooms of the Southern Saratoga YMCA, 1 Wall Street in Clifton Park, from 4:30-5:30pm. Our multi-generational RE program will encourage further explora-tion of the topic of love. Discussion and activities will include how our UU principles and sources guide, encourage and inspire us with regard to love, as well as how love manifests itself in our daily lives and actions. Sign Language Class for Babies STILLWATER – Did you know babies can learn sign language before they can talk? If you want to know exactly what’s on your baby’s mind, the Still-water Area Community Center (SACC) has a new baby signing class for you. This class is for babies from newborn to 1.5 years old, and their parents and grandparents. Starting March, 5, the class meets for 45 minutes on Sat-urdays from 10-11am, for 8 weeks at SACC, 19 Palmer Street in Stillwater. The class is limited to 10 babies (grandparents and caregivers are welcome at no additional cost!). Registration is $15 per week for 8 weeks ($120 total) for the entire family. Q: What is the price of renting a tuxedo?
A: The going rate for tuxedoes including vests and shoes falls in the range of $100-$150. If there are 5 or more paid rentals, the groom’s tuxedo is FREE.
Q: What do we do if we have an out of town attendant?
A: He will need to have his measurements taken at a tuxedo store in his area. He can them submit his measurements online, and of course, last minute adjustments can be made.
Q: When should we register our wedding party for tuxedoes and do we need an appointment?
A: NOW. This is the best time of the year to come in to the store. Prom season is just around the corner, which means we will be VERY busy soon. Appointments are suggested to secure a speci ed time-slot.
Q: How is your selection?
A: Outstanding. We have over 50 jacket styles, 200 vests and 350 ties. We also have pleated and non-pleated pants, pleated and non-pleated shirts and choices in shoe types. We also have for sale, toddler tuxedoes, pocket squares, hats and canes.
