Miami University Academic Grants and Contracts SUMMARY
EXTERNAL GRANTS
During the fiscal year July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010 (FY10) Miami University received 308 awards. Total support from external sources is $35,065,916 for projects initiated by University faculty and staff. Included in this amount is $12,338,722 for student financial aid, $35,100 received as royalties, and revenue from the sale of Miami University intellectual property (RedLantern (DARS) $1,617,934). This external funding provides increased opportunities for faculty, students and staff to engage in inquiry and the creation of knowledge. The FY10 academic grants and contracts are detailed below by type of funding source and purpose.
